Just recvd email, UNO8 free data upgrade to 2GB from 1GB..any1 recv![]()
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your continuous support for MyRepublic Mobile thus far. To show our appreciation, we are going to double your data quota for your Uno plan in your next billing cycle! Fret not - your monthly recurring charges will stay the same, but we just need your help to follow a few simple steps to make sure that this upgrade works for you.
Before the upgrade, we’ll need you to update your SIM card settings. An SMS will be sent to you from this week, and at any point thereafter. If you were to see your current SIM card showing “No Network Service”, please follow the steps at the following support article. Once you've completed the steps, you should regain service, and by your next billing cycle you will get the 2GB data.
Find out how to update your SIM card settings here.
We hope you will enjoy the upgrade and please continue to support MyRepublic Mobile.
Sincerely,
The MyRepublic Team
y change sim card seting? change to m1?
Can I know which area you go that has low speed for circles life? Currently on starhub and giga thinking of changing to circles life or myrepublic.
Test was done at Punggol.
YouTube downgrades quality when I fast forward as connection not fast enough to catch up.
Final straw was at a Tanjong Pagar restaurant my Internet keep d/c and my game keeps reconnecting.
Why you want to move it from Giga?
Cause got 100Gb and can rollover for circles life but mainly because main line starhub so if get alternatives network, at least if starhub down I still not handicap ma..giga is not bad but same network..
Yours speed is very slow for LTE.
Is your area enclose?
MR mvno usin starhub or m1’s mobile network now?
Nope, this is tested at my balcony. I am living on the 8th floor if it matters.
Its my own fault for not realising MR is using M1 network.
