i switched from m1 sim-only-> myrepublic mobile -> giga -> vivifi.

VoLTE to me is not important since nowadays hardly making calls or receiving calls.
coverage and speed is more important to me.

I make calls frequently hence a big difference in experience when a call comes in, the network drop to 3G network got cut etc very unpleasant.

I went from Singtel Sim Only (2 years) -> Starhub Sim Only (1.5 years) -> M1 Sim Only (2 years) -> Giga (3 months) -> MyRepublic

Back on MyRepublic, no more issue gaming on MRT/Bus. I don't know why. It's more than just coverage. Maybe is my mobile's problem having better luck with M1 network but I used Starhub network twice facing same issue. Signal will drop off even with full bar then no data transferring.

Hopefully Gomo/Vivifi gets VoLTE soon I'll definitely try.

Network coverage has always been location dependent. Different operators have very different coverage across the various parts of the island. That's why no one operator fits all. It's even more in flux as operators upgrade and replace older base stations and micro/picocells to cater for 5G coverage. Coverage nature will change.

Go with what works for you after testing. In any case, user testing is always subjective. There are always biases that colour the psychological impression, including pricing. Since there's an inherited "coolie" mindset from our forebears, the psychological value of "cheap" goes further to give a better impression on a product/service than people think. ;) Simplistically, it's like "high QC and great service" have a weightage of 1, but "cheap" has a weightage of like 3-5, which is grossly unproportionate in assessment of a product/service. That's why many of us use objective measurements like speed tests, or slightly less objective measures like "out of pocket readiness" (ie, no need to toggle airplane mode or reboot to get immediate data access).

Ported out of MR to Zero1
MR used to have the best offerings even though the infrastructure is not so good.....
But they have not been updating their plans to stay on top of the game
Dollar for dollar, GB for GB and both with "unlimited" data, i believe Zero1 will be more bang for buck for me

this is super stupid on MR's sign up page, I need to enter a singapore number during the sign up process in order to sign up for a singapore number. Why?

its hard to say actually
because giga and starhub BY RIGHT is the same infra
but giga is kinda like 2nd class citizen although its still not bad
just hoping Zero1 did not lease a too lousy package from Singtel
haha

I use giga before, it is better than m1/myrepublic but it is still not as good as Singtel although it is still way better than m1.

this is unique to M1
does Starhub NTUC member CIS sim only 4G plan good offer? Does this StarHub SIM only plan better performance than MR/M1? My friend wants to switch...I am not using with StarHub and cannot answer him.

MR really weird, wanted to sign up for lite plan but they insist I have to pay $100 deposit due to their "checks". I pay all my bills on time and don't have any outstanding debts. I can apply for CCs in any bank without scrutiny but MR thinks I have a credit deficit
