I think the M1 plans will eventually be phased out with Starhub already a majority owner in MR's Broadband business, especially seeing how competitively priced their 100GB 5G plans are compared to the competition's 100GB 4G.
Definitely better than being on M1, held off onboarding w MR because of M1 infastructure.
At least compared, Starhub better than M1 in connectivity. Broadband wise, MR isn't performing that well though, downtimes are piling up every other month since Starhub joining.

Great finally another eSIM provider in Singapore. Don't need to stick to M1 for eSIM.

The only reason why I'm on M1 was because of the eSIM requirement for the Fruit Phone.

I did a speed test a few days back, on the 4G plan and 5G plans, before i fully ported into the new 5G plan.

5G plan is insanely fast, but honestly, i am not sure about the practicality of this speed right now.
Not sure why Starhub 4G is so slow in my area.

The new 5G plan rides on Starhub network. APN is shwap; i.e., SH Data Postpaid. If one sign up the NEW 5G PLAN, will connect to Starhub network regardless if on 4G or 5G when using the SIM card.

The existing MR 4G ONLY plans apparently continues to ride on M1 network, APN is Sunsurf.
Oh this is interesting! Didn't know that, thanks for sharing!

If M1 Broadband works fine for you, there's no reason to change provider.

In fact, imo, M1 Broadband is the most stable among the Big Three. that can't be said for M1 Mobile....

The reason why i’m thinking of changing cos i need to cancel m1 subscription anyways as my new home won’t be ready immediately when i move out from my old home. So i need to cancel and sub again free months after, hence thinking of other providers. Only reason why i am subbed to m1 years ago is cos it’s the cheapest out of the big 3.

Sometimes my M1 connection quite laggy, latency spikes when gaming a bit, not sure if is cos my area very congested with many different wifi.

Good to know that m1 is one of the best out there haha.

Chances are it's not M1, it's your wifi problem.

To have good and stable latency best is wire.

WIFI will spikes due to a lot factor. Congested wifi signal, too many device connected to the router via wifi.

So gaming is best to go LAN (wire).

Maybe u can try using third party DNS, like CloudFlare's 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1 or Google's 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4. See if it improves, but then could also be WiFi interference issues.
