About a month ago, I noticed there are some dandruffs. Thinking that it's simple problem so I changed my shampoo, but till today still no change. Need some advices from the fellows here who may have such experience.

Background:
- My hairstyle standard uppercut, so minimal hair on the side & back.
- I wash my hair everyday, because my hair quite greasy in the past. Mon-Fri wax for work, weekends no wax. But still will wash.
- Been using SilkPro Black (normal hair) for 2+ years, no issue until 1 month ago. Dandruffs formed at the side of scalp, along hairline. Especially visible right after washing hair. No longer experience greasy hair, in fact scalp beginning to dry up
- Dandruff gets serious only if I scratch it. Dandruff feels dry and rain down like snow when scratch. But if you blow or sweep, it just fly off, unlike oily dandruff that sticks to your skin or shirt.
- So I changed to Head & Shoulder Dry Scalp Shampoo, which said to have some Almond oil etc to reduce dry skin. Use for 1 month, no difference, same issue
- Recently started to feel the dandruff area moving up, to front hairline. Center top still not affected (scratch but no see dandruff).
- Some "pink dots" spotted on the scalp on the side of the head. Itch occurs even more frequent now, especially when after shower. If go out whole day, no itch (weird)
- Scalp feels dry throughout. In the past when i rub my head with my fingers, can see oil on my finger due to greasy hair. But now is just dry, no oil. Despite go out whole day + wax, scalp still no oil and feels kinda dry compared to past. Face also become less oily nowadays (in the past face also oily due to greasy hair)
- Not on medication, no changes to usual diet. In fact I tried eating more oily stuff, end up kana pimples on my face but scalp still dry.

Gonna try some method recommended for 1 last time, if still no change then consider going NSC check up liao. NEED SERIOUS HELP! :(

prepare to bald.....

No bald history. Whole family healthy hair no bad track record. Seems that only I kana. Not sure if it's some fungus/bacterial attack. No lice, asked family help check already. Only can see some skins on scalp ready to peel off, like dry skin on face whereby you rub and see those dead skins sticking out.

a lot of brands out there so I'm also confused on what is best for me. I went watson once asking for recommendation, the person simply point to me the most expensive bottle that cost over $50+, I don't trust her lol.

Anyway you been using this for how long?

go see a GP first, see if its dandruff (seborrheic dermatitis).

if yes, you may be prescribed tar shampoo.

Any recommendation? Best no need to wait very long. But also not very expensive la. Later go $100+ then say "oh just dry skin, use oil".

Anyway a quick comparison with symptoms, I don't think is seborrheic dermatitis. I had something like that on my feet before, basically like snake skin with unstoppable itch, and very obvious 1 patch. But my scalp issue doesnt feel like that, the red spots is like pimple, which probably caused by the chemical in shampoo or something. And the dandruff is just snow effect, unlike big piece of peeling like what was spotted on my feet.

Sounds like I can try that. How about Rene Furterer? I see some reviews like not bad also. Seems that it focus on balancing the PH level on the scalp. You tried before?
