Nothing to do with shampoo or wad la.
You got dermatitis, it is a chronic illness. I got it decade ago.
There is no way to cure it, at most u suppress it. And it comes & goes anything.

Never try all these before, have been using those economical shampoo like Dove, SilkPro, Sunsilk etc.

skin conditions, GPs might know a bit. my GPs (husband/wife team) both know a bit about skin conditions, albeit the more common ones. but being smart, they stop short of diagnosing me, they only suspect "it's this condition", "it's that condition". instead they advised me to go NSC.

actually i already intended to go NSC, but during consultation for flu/cold i highlighted my scalp conditions to my GPs, so happened they recognised my condition.

it's up to you whether you want to commit time and money for NSC, it may be seen as over-reaction. you can get subsidised referral at polyclinics, but there is waiting time till your appointment. meanwhile you can get polyclinic to prescribe you temporary treatment first. common OTS shampoo you find at polyclinics, NSC also prescribes them (tar shampoo, centrimide, selenium sulphide they have the NSC stamp on the bottles). although results vary from person to person.

Yea probably gonna get some well PH balanced shampoo. I think those less than $10 anywhere also can buy kind like full of harmful chemicals. So maybe I try get those natural ingredients kind from Watsons. I see before some like $20-$30, but looks kinda "less harsh" compared to <$10 kind.

Maybe u can just try find for sulfate free shampoos. No need buy so ex one...

how much is your psoriasis medication per month and how serious is it?

Elomet (mometasone furoate) steroid solution around $30 per bottle (30ml). For both psoriasis and seb derm.

Stieprox shampoo around $28 (150ml). More for seb derm.

I always collect these 2 each appointment 2-3 months apart, I always have enough. I try not to use too much since both are steroid-based. They cause skin-thinning in the long run.

oh ok thanks, polyclinic doctor suspected i have psoriasis but i have it on my neck and ears only, not that serious and i have been using steroid and clotrimazole creams and it's been helping a bit, reduced the flakes significantly, might wanna go NSC if it worsens in future
