Guys..just try out old 500w power supply..and the thing worked! so I take it the new super flower psu is the problem? or my connection? and 500 able to support gtx 970?
watch out ah, might be that the Superflower is tripping because of OCP or some other protection , which your old 500W might not have, especially since you said your fans spin a bit then turn off...

paperclip trick should show if the PSU is indeed not working...

OCP = overcurrent protection, cause something in your computer short-circuiting itself. There is also a possibility that the PSU is shorting itself without connecting to other hardware.

One solution is to do paperclip test. Google it.

Every PSU is a ticking time bomb no matter how good quality they are. The better quality it is, the longer is will last.

i was worried as my new psu is turning on then off by itself..but with the same setup, my old psu is able to run...and its been 2 days im using the old psu.

just worried that the new psu detect something that the old psu didnt detect and end up the old psu destroy other part of the computer:(

Do paperclip test la.

If it run fine without turning off by itself then it is your other hardware problem.

This is the most fun part of DIY pc, you need to learn how to troubleshoot yourself.

Didn't you buy the PSU from Lazada? I don't think there is a shop to return to, unless you mean Tech-Dynamic, in which case there is no harm having them take a look at your PSU.
