I suggest you dont change actually. Not many shows is in 4K, and you have to make sure all your current devices support it (get the free 1 month trial just to be sure). Also it depends on the content also, SH might have what Netflix dont, vice versa, so make use of the free 1-month trial to explore.

I see as less video in UHD.

Yes in term of price of course viewer will prefer Netflix over SH Tv for sure.

sh and mios of course is the best

esp the 59.9 monthly fees for premiere league

when you pay world class fees, you get world class quality

i 2nd class...only can afford netflix

my 4k tv can only screen 4k content when the source is 4k...unless sh and mio

at that kind of fees, i am sure sh and mio will be streaming 8k content for premiere league

lolzzzz

May I ask which ISP u are on?

Singtel. But i really don't think it has anything to do with the telco.

Perhaps you can try manually updating your TVs firmware through Samsung's website via a flashdrive. I always update the latest TV firmware this way.

Last update for my TV was on 18th Dec 2015. And Netflix just automatically installed on my TV yesterday

Haha, my Samsung Smart TV just spoilt last week, now using Sony, non-smart non-Android.

Just my guess, Singtel/Starhub/M1 users, the backend of the various brands (Samsung in your case) "sees" your region as SG, so push down the app to your set.

MR/VQ users, due to their value-added service (Teleport/FreedomVPN), the backend of the brands "sees" the region as "US", so there is no need to push down the app. In this case, I am not sure changing the WAN DNS value to 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 will help or not.

Just my guess.

Nah..... VPN Rocks !!!

Now I'm love with both Netflix SG and VPN for giving me more option besides Nexflix US which currently I'm enjoying.

Switched Off VPN / SmartDNS and I'm on Netflix SG and switched it back and I'm on Netflix US

Hi u mean u sign up sg netflix account and u can go u.s. netflix too when using vpn?

Netflix account is universal. It detect your IP region, and based on that to decide which region content that you can watch. Using your local M1/ST/SH IP, you will get SG contents, but if you use VPN or Unotelly (or Teleport by MR or FreedomVPN by VQ), you will get US contents or whichever country that you choose.
