As of now, no success report of using an SFP+ XGS-PON ONR or Stick to replace the XGS-PON ONR yet. The issue is probably the high cost of SFP+ XGS-PON ONR or Stick. So nobody want so carry out the experiment yet. One user wrongly bought the XG-PON stick.

There are successful stories of using GPON ONU or Stick to replace the ISP GPON ONT/ONRs. They are cheap so no harm getting them for experiment.

thanks buddy, I guess superinternet was the only way

Just wondering why you insist on using SFP+ handoff. Starhub/MR are using XGS-PON ONT now, so it should give the user pretty good choices of routers to use if you want to use your own (wired) 10G capable router.

1) power consumption
2) heat

I would like to use a sfp+ router, not a copper one

Singtel FibreEverywhere Bundle (using Huawei FTTR solution, S$109 per month or higher) probably meets your requirement of power dissipation and heat. But I guess you do not want it as it is using ONR. Main unit has only got 1G ports and slave only has 2.5G port. Aggregated bandwidth is only up to 6.5Gbps
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/broadband/fibre-everywhere-fttr

FAQ:
https://www.singtel.com/content/dam/singtel/eshop/Fibre/agreements/FibreEverywhere-Bundle-FAQ.pdf

2) How does our FibreEverywhere Bundle work?
Our FibreEverywhere Bundle provides both the (A) 10Gbps Enhanced Plan and (B) FibreEverywhere Add-Ons.
Only FTTR specific equipment will be issued to enable FibreEverywhere in your home. 10Gbps Enhanced Plan
with FibreEverywhere Add-Ons provides for a maximum total bandwidth of up to 6.5Gbps where all aggregated
download or upload speeds will be up to 6.5Gbps.

Our FibreEverywhere Add-Ons consists of (i) the FibreEverywhere Main Room Add-On, and (ii) FibreEverywhere
Additional Room Add-Ons where each add-on

9) What is offered in the FibreEverywhere Bundle?
FibreEverywhere Bundle will come with one main XGS FTTR Router, and one XGS FTTR Mesh with every additional room. Accessory devices are also included in the installation e.g., Fibre splitter, Access Terminal Box, and fibre cabling. Fixed line is also bundled into the FibreEverywhere Bundle.

Sticker has no password. It's customized specialized by starhub, replied by TP link agents.
Called for onsite support since SH CSO don't understand, called 3 times.
Nice to know I am not the only idiot. I didn't ask for the password and I msged the tech but he never reply. I just reset it and set it up

I recontracted to the Ultraspeed plan but was given the Nokia XS-2426X-A router. I tried to ask for the superuser account but was refused.

Anyone here using this XS-2426X-A router as well? Can PM me the SH superuser account details?

As per the previous reports, each Nokia XGS-PON all-in-one ONR will have different super-admin account password. So unfortunately they can not really help you in this case....

Ah sad. This ONR sucks. Can't even remove connected devices and perform direct speed test.
Hmm, did you only get the Nokia XGS-PON all in one ONR and no TP-Link EB810v WiFi 7 router? When did you sign up? What does the contract say about the router to be issued?

I was only given Nokia XS-2426X-A ONR. There is no TP-Link WiFi7 router. I signed up during the CNY week.

There is nothing about the router in my contract. The only equipment mentioned is the TV+ Pro.

It is the 88.77/mth promo. The one with Nokia ONR.

I see.

So you sign up before they changed to ONT + TP-Link EB810v router but increased the price of Homehub+ 10Gbps bundle from S$88.77 to the current pricing of S$110.97.

Then unfortunately you are stuck with the unbridged Nokia all-in-one XGS-PON ONR as the main router. If you want to use your own router, maybe you have to live with Double NAT first and then see if it supports things like DMZ or IP passthrough.

Officially SI is the only way. Unofficially, it should still be possible with the other ISP but you still won't get the full 10gb speed like SI.
You are still on SI right?

better dont let go since its the only ISP that offer ponstick handoff for now :)

It is because the Nokia ONR is just a simple device. Any way as long as you do not have internet connection issue then it is still ok. No wifi dead spot or any where in the home without wifi coverage. Internet speed normal, then it is ok.

Anyone here bought a second unit of the TP-Link EB810v router from Starhub to be setup as mesh with wired backhaul? Just wanted to confirm whether is this possible on an EasyMesh system before I confirm the purchase of a second unit as I would prefer it to be setup as wired backhaul.
