Hi everyone.

Was discussing with my wife on how we should dry our laundry when we move into our bto next year.

Was wondering if the hdb provided solutions are good enough, or we should budget for a dryer or automated laundry rack.

What do you guys think? Mind sharing your laundry setup?
we use a dryer instead of laundry rack. I have 3 kids and when the first two twins arrive with multiple clothes changes throughout the day , pee, vomit on bedsheets then i truly appreciate the value of a heat pump dryer.

use sun most of the time, else hang indoors and on fan.

I've heard de-humudifier works very well... but kitchen not enclosed.
Recently I bought the detergent from donki
Said 3hrs drying time but if air humid still longer

however I did feel that it dry the clothes better
Bad thing is v heavy fragrance

Singapore don’t need to waste money to dry clothes la. Why spend money to buy something to waste money, where the existing option of just drying the clothes in the air is free?

my washer/dryer only use the washing function. Dryer function use less than 5 times a year.
Then why did you waste money buying dryer-washer combo?

Have both dryer and a Steigen.

Dryer for house worn clothes, towels, bedsheets etc. basically anything that can survive the dryer.

Work shirts/dresses, pants, polo T etc... hang dry indoor and use the Steigen.

Have 2 kids.
Using a 8kg washer and a heat pump dryer. Wash a load about every 2 days. Advice is to get a bigger load washer, maybe 12kg, if you intend to wash only every few days.

I use a dryer at home.

Its very helpful esp during rainy days.

I have been resisting on my wife's insistence on getting a dryer......I am old school....sun drying still the best. The smell from sun drying also different....smells fresher....I like. Rainy days we use the laudromat $5 dryer, can hold up to 20 kg of load.

get a washer with high spin speed like 1200rpm, so cloth will be nearly dry when out of washer. hang over night will be 70-80% dry. by end of next day will be all dry.
