I've been using Heya for about a month now. Can safely say that it's generally quite ok, but the internet gets horribly slow (cannot watch videos or Instagram reels) at certain timing and places. can't really complain about the $10 price point, but i'm quite worried about the fact that cannot receive SMS when overseas.
considering switching over to an MVNO that at least allows for receiving of SMS OTP when overseas, otherwise really headache.

I am overseas. I can receive sms.

If I bought their $30 credit, will my account automatically recharge after the 30 days until my credit finish (like SIMBA) or do I need to go in and manually recharge?

Hi, Thank you for reaching out to us. Please allow us to share that it's only available via kiosk. You will be able to conveniently top-up your heya plan and add-ons using AXS Kiosks. However, it's important to note that at this time, only the heya Plan and add-ons are available for top-up via AXS Kiosks. Unfortunately, heya wallet credits top-up is not currently available through this channel. We hope this clarifies. Thank you. - Kesh

IMHO.
Open the App
Look for the Heya.SG blue mascot ( erm...dunno what animal or fish )
Look for the amount of GB left.
Below that is the day and month follow by the word expiry.
That is the date you buy the new plan.

The basis of prepaid is you buying a sim card and topping it up with credits.

Heya works this way but they blur the lines with recurring CC/DC payment.
With SIM only plans or contactless plans, you can safely ignore the thing about prepaid and postpaid unless your original number is prepaid. Then you have to find a way to make it into a postpaid

Why can't you port out?

To clarify, i am not a Heya customer. But to me, if they allow port in, the same number can be ported out

Edit - https://www.singtel.com/content/dam/heya/pdf/heya_TnCs.pdf
"heya is a postpaid SIM only mobile plan provided by Singtel Mobile."
