I am thinking of migrating to Heya $13 200GB plan from my current Giga $20 400GB 5G plan 🤔

Anyone tried heya in Japan? can receive calls or sms? I think no data roaming for Jp.

Eg in JB can receive incoming calls (at least phone ringing) .

It is 4G vs 5G. Maybe can look at Zym 5G ?

I saw Eight Mobile is even cheaper $8 for 238GB n 10G Auto roaming 😱

But then, Zym Auto Roaming covered more countries.

Actually I am okay with 4G as long as connectivity no issues.

If better still have rollover data cause I will be using the mobile plan for streaming too.

Eight is cheapest. They come with 228GB with free 10G APAC Roaming and 2G Int Roaming.

But I am not able to port in my number cause I am currently on Giga.

Giga not good?
I heard comments that signal will drop randomly during the day

Giga is okay for me so far. The hotspot service used for streaming is way better than Simba no doubt there's some buffering but still watchable.

But then, my current plan now is $20 for 400GB with 8G Roaming too overkill as I only used 100 plus G per month looking at my past few months of usage. And worst is my data was so much because of rollover extra data :s22:

So I had decided to migrate to 8 mobile $8 plan with 228GB Data, 10G APAC Roaming , 2G Int Roaming.

I believe reception should be the same since both are using StarHub Network.

Just check that my number can be ported over to 8 Mobile from my current Giga.

My current Giga plan is 5G but then I always received 4G so maybe wait for a longer period then consider 5G.
