tempting to use heya. some points that need fellow users help. thank you!

- to register and port in need to go physical stall?
- for payment can pay via their app with credit card?
- i see lazada/shopee has top up thingy, what's that for ah since its postpaid and not prepaid?

IMHO.
One or two shortcomings.
Every month need to buy the data plan. They will send you reminder via SMS. Unless you don't read SMS. No roaming. OTP overseas won't work.

IMHO.
You go to the physical shop to buy a new number or port over the number.
You pay $10 for 50+50 GB for 30 days. Walk away if the shop try to charge you extra.
You will receive SMS 3 days and 1 day before the end of this 30 days.
Then you need to go to lazada/shopee to buy a data plan which gives you another 50+50GB. Please do so on the day of the expiry.

E.g. You start 1st April. 30th April will expire.
Should be 27th April and 29th April will have SMS.
Then go Shopee/Lazada on the LAST DAY i.e. 30th April to buy data plan.

Or

Before 30th April, you go to Lazada/Shopee and top-up into the APP let's say $20.
Then on 30th April, yourself go to the APP and buy the data plan.

P.S. I think the official one is shopee....i can't recall which is which.

No one can answer your question. Watching streaming video from where?? So far I watch YouTube during peak or off peak timing still very smooth.

Managed speeds aren’t meant for video, it’s just for texting apps. Don’t be a cheapskate, buy a higher data plan rather than rely on “unlimited managed” speeds for your video/social media cravings.

Manage speed means 1Mbps or lesser.
You can't compare to TPG or HEYA which actually giving you 4G speed but affected by peak or off peak timing. You can test yourself by just paying $10. Asking around not going give you good answer.

I read from Heya Facebook it say can't receive sms while overseas. I would think the line can't connect to foreign network. HEYA is more suitable as a local Data sim at the moment. Things may improve in future.
