Does Apple ship on a Saturday? Just received an email that there is a delivery delay and the delivery may arrive 1 business day later

Would be lucky to reach 10 hrs... Logically it cannot be as good as the non-touch bar model. The Touch Bar model has more power hungry CPU, needs to power the Touch Bar, and yet the battery is smaller! Amazing that Apple could claim the same 10 hrs.

You are talking about the 13" one right? I wonder if the 15" will have better life.

I had a delivery delay email as well. Called up the Apple Store, they said my shipment was currently getting cleared at Singapore Customs, which could take up to 24 hours. Most likely to be delivered tomorrow (9am-12pm).

Originally delivery was for today 2 Dec.

Just asking ah... Prvsly one guy mention about the AppleCare as insurance... I used apple prodicts before but never buy AppleCare as last time the products' parts can be changed quite easily... Not anymore now...

So i was thinking to but the MBP with the AppleCare just to keep myself safe... I knkw i can buy the AppleCare within 1 yr from purchase... After that it will extend to another 2 more yrs... After that, can I actually make another purchase so basically will become a cycle everytime the AppleCare ends??

No. You can only purchase applecare for one time to extend your warranty to 3 years. You cannot purchase applecare anymore after 3 years has ended.

Anyone tried monitoring the battery life for TB version (13" or 15")? There are reports of users getting only 4-5 hours on non-intensive tasks.

depends bro. battery eater for me is chrome intensive sites... if i open 20 tabs and surf some poewr hungry sites, my batt estimate (97% remaining) is 5hrs + only.

However, if i do something basic like read PDF or just use word, batt estimate (97% remaining) is 14 hrs.

Really depend on what you use it for.

Cool it's comforting to hear that stressing the machine still results in 5hrs plus. And a possibility to reach 14 hrs on light tasks.

Does your MBP run hot? I tend to find mine hotter than I'd expect, based on what I'm familiar with on the Late-2013 RMBP.

No. You can only purchase AppleCare once for every product. Otherwise, Apple would have to keep spare parts for the product forever.
