Weird leh...

Why so much focus on the Greater Southern Waterfront?

Thought they said wants to make Jurong the next CBD? Moving most if not all public sector organisations over?

They scrapping the plan or what?

Instead of MRT lines and some memorial sites, focus more on building HDB?
Which OL want to work in jurong? All want to work in atas Raffles place/MBFC

Jurong cbd is a big failure right from the start :s22:

Existing ktm rail corridor?

Its a nightmare to close Jalan Bukit Merah.
Red Hill totally cleared along bukit Merah. It's now a big empty patch of land.
The other estates at bukit Merah central are poorly optimised with alot of empty space and are aging. It has the most pathetic looking polyclinic in Singapore.

The flatted factories for servicing cars at Bukit Merah near Alexandra Village, could be chased out. I remember the idea was floated before. It's near IKEA, Alexandra hospital and queensway shopping centre. That spot will be perfect. It's near ABC market and AV market. The distance between the Red Hill Bukit Merah and AV is just nice for two stations

Following that, It will be good if the line merge at tiong bahru, the psb is vacant, there are alot of empty patched nearby for housing HDB enbloc. It has the best impact.
Bukit ho swee and beo crescent could be enbloc. But from the drawing and planning, it's unlikely going passing through there though there's room.

It should be routing to Telok Blangah + Bukit Purmai which could be redeveloped

Many, including myself, may not be around to see it. Not sure if HWZ will be around during their launch.

Why they up till now don’t like North to east direct…….. ( Woodlands > Semb> Yishun > Punggol > Pasir Ris / Tampines) vice versa

Currently fully rely on bus services
precisely i tink many will want tis rather than going south yet again

GG Yishun, Seletar Line planned for so long, but it was not to be
For it to pass from Sembawang to Seletar/Sengkang, I'm quite sure it will pass by Yishun East (the long stretch along Yishun Ave 8) with all of the new BTOs. The map arrow looks like its passing in that area. Fingers crossed!

White elephant line that uses taxpayers' money and commuters' budget to inflate private property prices.

News lines more for using soil for tuas, than provide MRT for resident.Eventually, all evacuated soil used to expand Sinkieland coastline ,by a few percent.East coast plan, and Tekong connect to mainland ?
