If you are not hands on, better go with aftershock/ dreamcore or some other system builder. Typically DIY you will encounter issues sometimes that require troubleshooting. For diy folks, that’s part of the ‘fun’ but could be stressful for you if you don’t have an innate interest in hardware.

I'm sure I can find my way through. I don't have very much knowledge but googling is nothing new to me. If not, I have other places where I can ask for help too.

Ok, so long as it won’t become a chore and you are interested in fiddling then it’s ok lah. It’s a choice.

We same same, couple years back I will always ask the shop to assemble. But now I get all parts and assemble my self haha. Is so fun!

Mainly refer from youtubes.

I find that inserting front panel pins and cable management are the most troublesome~ :p

Heh, for me trouble will probably be cable management, I'm sure I'll give many an aneurism when they look at my cable management

Yea, even more cables now if you are going to have RGBs.

At least some cases have dual-chamber design so you can hide all of them into the right side chamber.

Prolly you can gather all cables and cable tied them into 1 or 2 grps, if possible :/

I am not interested in RGB though, if I wanted fancy lights I could just take the Christmas lights and dump them in the case, is cheaper lol

But yeah, I've been studying up on cable management so hopefully this won't be a catastrophe. I could post a pic here when I'm done tho and have everyone yell at me :p

currently gpu are sold at scalper prices. nvidia 3070 are $1070 now. if u can wait, wait for the prices to come down.

Haha some pp know early that they don’t want to fret about the hardware so they don’t even want to start. For me, I’m only prepared to support family, maybe close friends. While I might be tempted to recommend a custom built system to friends when asked, I refrain from offering such a suggestion to avoid having to also be responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance.

where got, us$399 is more like s$530. +7% gst is about s$567. again add us$50 for aib model, only then about s$640. so u are paying about 20% markup.

3070 MSRP is $499 USD.

Founders MSRP in SGD = USD x 1.6 for pretty much all models. Except our AIBs even more ex for some reason. That's why people (like me) end up with Palit and Zotac.
