New Titan X announced!

so volta comes out next year, what's the point of upgrading this year ?

Provided Vega makes it out early next year and can compete with Pascal. If AMD decides to delay Vega, then Volta will also be delayed until end of next year or even 2018...

It's like how 980Ti killed titanX. If there is a new 1080Ti, it will kill the new titanX too.

On the contrary, 980Ti is released to counter Fury X citing not that stellar performance of Titan X with a better price point thus killing Titan X kinda. Isn't it?

It's just a repeat cycle of how 980 got bumped off last year, this time round, 1080 is having the same fate ...... or slower death than 980

Still need to change meh? Considering that this card is at $1200usd, even if it is out, will you swap from 1080 to a titan X lol.

If the trend is right, it should cost at $2k sgd.

I'm playing BF4 and GTA5 using my 980Ti Lightning on my P2715Q and they still manage 4k/60fps easily. Just disable AA for the 4k resolution, u dont need it.

Just change the AA to off. You don't need it on a higher resolution monitor.

Nah, I stand by my choice.

Recently my monitor got problem. Under Dell's Advanced Next Day Exchange Policy, got another refurbished one. But condition worse than before. In the end, after 3 exchanges and a bit of bang table, managed to get a brand new piece that Dell had to pull stocks from other countries.

I bought this P2715Q monitor last year at IT Show. Back then, Dell's 32-inch 4k was way too expensive, BenQ didnt have a local distro yet and Philips' 32-inch wasnt available yet. But I dont regret my choice to go with Dell. For the warranty. After use more than 1 year still can bang table get new piece via exchange.
