2 weeks to print, 30m to load, 15s of BRRRT, 15m of cleanup.

Pricessless.

Look forward to laugh in TF2 Heavy.

Gonna build this as a project with my nephew. Need a slave to pick up the shell casings and links, and who has the nimble little child fingers to assemble the lot.

That’s the finished unit. The mechanical kit is a fraction of the price. It is still expensive make no mistake. It will take maybe 10 reels of filament to print. Considerable if I wanna use something more heat stable than PLA. Some parts will be printed with CF filament for dimensional stability and rigidity.

Quoted and print screen.

Hello SPF.
Yes hi :)

NERF blasters are exempted under 3D additive manufacturing regulations.

This is a mechanical kit containing components that are no different from what you might find in an RC car. There is nothing explicitly controlled or restricted in there.

SPF/customs regulations prohibit the IMPORT of finished toy guns, and specific, purpose built components like airsoft/airgun mechanisms.
In truth many parts are dual-use and thus cannot be controlled. A gas piston might be used in a air rifle or a self closing door. A spring in a real steel AR15 or a fork suspension. Where do you draw the line?

Not needed. This is not a finished toy or replica gun. It is ball bearings, an electronic speed controller, motor and other bits of generic hardware. No different from an RC car or drone electronics kit. 100% overlap even.

The rest of it will be manufactured with additive manufacturing, and this, a toy foam blaster, is explicitly exempted from firearms manufacture legislature where 3D printing is concerned.

It would be different if I were importing a completed MOAB. That as a completed weapon lookalike would absolutely require licensing.

Pretty sure this is illegal.

Anyone who possesses an airsoft gun or a stun gun without a valid licence can be fined up to $5,000 for each gun and jailed for up to three years.

Kiddy palace sells full auto gel blasters. Those can probably generate more firepower against otters than ts's expensive flex.
