by the way, for the xin ming article, Nicole responded that it ish legal to do so as advised by her lawyer friend in NSP. money was put in that account so can check the donors before accepting (required for political donations).

if u asked me, the bad move was cos it was on her facebook, and nicole was 'calling the shots' to ask for donations in order to 'bank on her fame'. You can argue until the cows go home that she did nothing wrong but she shouldn't have made that move on her own.

As she stated in the Xin Ming report, to avoid running afoul of the political donation laws, monies are collected on personal basis to identify all donors first. This would avoid NSP being guilty of accepting donations from non-permissible persons, such as foreigners hired by pappies for example.
