When donation drive is closed, open up the bank account for scrutiny. Post up the bills paid and from which account.

Invite independent volunteers to check the account.

Then post all the information big big.

She did post on her facebook page that the account is new, set up just for receiving donations. From what I know, it's probably due to ease of setting up a personal account rather than a "corporate" account which requires a larger minimum sum IIRC.

The ultimate proof is whether she publishes the accounts as she said she will when the amount of S$35K is raised.

People have the right to ask and know. This is the perfect chance to come clean and be fully accountable and transparent.

But this sounds more like making a mountain out of a hill. Technically it may have the potential to sound fishy, but she hasn't been found guilty of anything yet. If anything, perhaps she has made an amateurish, naive political move which is inevitably open to scrutiny. Next round she'll be more careful.
