No basis for my belief but, I believe fox1 courtship was rejected by Nicole, tat y he bear a grudges toward her and slander her.

All of the negative remarks heaped on her are basically subjective opinions. Yet to see anyone show she is politically naive.

Her apology to the malays on behalf of LKY/PAP was a brilliant play of statesmanship. The handling of the TPL incident and now this funding matter. The mark of a person is shown by how they are able to make the best use of their limited resources. How a person present themselves, make decisions in the heat of the moment and display an understanding of the crowd mood is another indication of their ability. Compare this to TPL whose best play is to keep her mouth shut.

Im not sure its pure skill or luck or probably a lot of both, but all the so called controversies she was embroiled in has turned out to her advantage. Take this thread for example. The original intent was obvious but it really served to bring clarity and vindicate her only. Or perhaps TS has inherited the lao goh's ability to score own goals.

She will be clearing people's doubts of fund misappropriation, threw the practice of transparency in PAP's face and defray her election costs at least in part if not full.

So, yes. NS is really capable whether you like it or not. Because it doesn't matter how you assume she operated. But in the end, she has always gained political mileage. And that is the result that counts.

I am lazy to show u my arguments, since u are an obvious fanboy. But my view is the general reflection of the generation X and older.

What I see so far is she is just a better talker than TPL. And I have SEEN and KNOWN alot more pple who are her age range who are far better than her. She is nothing exceptional, except her willingness to step forth into politics.

And it is OBVIOUS, that she started off the initiative herself. Without first discussing with the party. This is not an assumption.

And this is a demonstration of her inability to be a team player. Or at the very least, not sufficiently experienced to know how things shld be done.

She acted like a typical "rebel" hot-headed maverick. Both in this incident and during the GE. Who just react, and have little forethought on her actions or respect for the opponents.

She is NOWHERE the goddess u all make her up to be. Just becuz u bark the loudest, doesn't means u are the most capable. Lol!

oh, u can admire her guts and willing to push for a change. But to claim she is incredibly capable? That is ridiculous and irrational.

NATIONAL SOLIDARITY PARTY STATEMENT DATED 23 May 2011

We refer to Nicole Seah’s recent online appeal for donations to a bank account set up in her personal name.

The appeals for donations are made by the Candidates to defray the actual campaign costs that the Party will not pay for. The Candidates have to pay for these themselves. The Parlimentary Elections Act requires each Candidate and his Election Agent to submit a return and declaration of his election expenses. By law, the Candidate must list all the expenses incurred for the election, and every donation accepted by the Election Agent or by the Candidate for the purpose of expenses incurred in respect of the election. This return and declaration must be submitted by each Candidate, not the Party, within 31 days of 9 May 2011. Given the urgency of preparing and submitting the returns before 9 June 2011, the Candidates consider it more practical to collect and account for donations at the Candidate level. Each Candidate making this appeal has set up a separate bank account to receive donations.

The public can be assured that the law requires Candidates to make full declarations of all campaign expenses incurred and all donations received, to the Returning Officer for public record and inspection.
