Qisahn is coming out with a big fat lie...If you did not click on "Order Received" after Shopee grace period, it will be automatically be marked as "Order Received" by Shopee...Shopee will inform you that they updated the status and ask you to dispute if you did not receive the items...I have never click on "Order Received" for any of my pre-order made with Qisahn...This is to protect my interest as a customer in case they could not fulfill the order...If they ask you to click on "Order Received" before receiving your items, please report the chat to Shopee for their action...

To be fair, i bought 5-6 times on shopee qishan. No problem so far even if i click order received. Yeah, but this order received before we actually received the item leave a slightly bad taste since only they practiced that.

Tbh I bought a few games from qisahn via shopee and will always click order received even before I received the order. I will always received my order the next day after they shipped out.

Anyway, here's an update after i raise the issue with Qisahn. They suggest for me to return the $62 to them and they will issue refund on Shopee after a few working days. I won't be transferring the amount back to them, since my end result is the same but have to wait longer for the money to be returned. Shall let Qisahn earn the $10 then, haha.

Tbh I bought a few games from qisahn via shopee and will always click order received even before I received the order. I will always received my order the next day after they shipped out.

I know that you can click "Order Received" anytime you want which Shopee will release payment to Qisahn...But to flat out lie that it Shopee's policy will auto-cancel pre-order is really unethical and really goes against the Terms of Service of Shopee...I am not arguing about them not fulfilling your orders that you pre-ordered and clicked "Order Received" but because of the lie that they told customers which is really unethical of a company to do so...No other seller on Shopee asked the customers to click "Order Received" to get full payment first before sending out the items...Only Qisahn does that...

They can only do that because people do not know their rights as a customer and how to protect themselves in the event that the shop could not fulfill their orders...There is a time-limit on which shopee guarantee will work...Any longer, Shopee will tell you that they could not do anything as you did not file for dispute during the Shopee Guarantee period...

Having said that, I still pre-order games from Qisahn and other sellers on Shopee all the time, depending on the best deal that I can get...The only difference is that I ignore Qisahn message on Shopee to release payment to them first by clicking "Order Received" and I have not had any of my orders cancelled before by Shopee...

Yup, agree with you, will not be clicking "Order received" anymore in future. Will also patronize other Shops if the price is on par with Qisahn.

I am not sure if unethical is the term for it. Imagine you want to pre-order a game last time like directly from any shop, without shopee or any online agent, you would have paid up first as well, and just waited for your game to arrive. On the other hand, Qisahn would have received the cash upfront, possibly to also do their own "pre-ordering" from the distributor.

The only difference now is with Shopee, Shopee can withhold releasing the payment to Qisahn, which is actually an additional inconvenience to Qisahn where they previously would have already received the cash which they may need to operate their business.

I frankly think if there is no loss to you, as in you paid for a preorder and you trust Qisahn will be honoring their side of the deal, then i don't see why Qisahn is unethical to request you to allow Shopee to release the funds first.

Just for the record i am not affiliated to Qisahn in any way, just someone who has bought from them before, but not exclusively just from them, and just trying to be objective. This may apply to any other seller who is doing pre-order.

No one is disputing or saying that Qisahn is out to scam people...I have no issues with my pre-order from Qisahn before...The only thing that most will be unhappy or unaware is that Qisahn is flat out lying to customers by claiming that Shopee will cancel the pre-order if the customer did not click on the "Order Received"...

This is to educate customers that while Qisahn might be a reliable seller to fulfill the pre-orders, there might be other sellers who could not and it will affect the customers as they have no avenue for recourse should it happen as they have unknowingly authorized Shopee to release the payment...Shopee Guarantee will not be applicable to those who are unaware of what they have done...

The issue is that no one is disputing on whether Qisahn is reliable or not but It is more of an ethical issue to claim that Shopee will cancel the pre-order if the "Order Received" are not clicked...That is a lie which is the issue...What if other seller would demand the same thing and later could not fulfill the order? Customers should know their rights so as not to be in a disadvantage situation...Shopee is already there to help mitigate the risk for the customers...They should use it...
