experience of buying from japan: dun get your hopes too high, the stock situation hasn't been good ever since launch. Those who managed to get at 29k-32k yen official prices, good for u. Real lucky just nice e day of restock, or real effort of queuing up for it. For me i chose to buy at mark up price of 40k yen coz that was the only time i saw a switch after being there for 5 days.

Personally, if you have already waited this long to get the Switch and to save some $$$, I think you're better off waiting for the hype to die down. Betcha many Switch sitting around idle after most are done w Zelda and M.Kart.

I'm waiting too. Watching out for 2nd hand.
After all, Injustice 2 is keeping me busy and making Switch friends kinda jealous.

Hi i just got the switch from m1 board band yesterday. I have set up using Japan and not e shop. So I need to reformat the set and reset to other region or still can reset or other region as of now? Hmm.. and how to? Not good at all these. Switch mean for my kid. Thanks

Nahhh i dont think so ... got so many games to keep you occupied ... ... I haven't even make it halfway with BOTW ... busy playing mariokart with my buddies every weekends ...all of us are PS and Xbox owners. Hype will not die down ... if you could wait a year or 2 ... then why would you buy a switch then when there will be a new console to go gaga for. just also my personal opinion ... if you want it ..go buy it and join the FUN

system region set the system & game(if is available) language
it does not reformat only restart on region change.

whereas acc eshop region can only be change on the acc side

This is a connection pic of an upcoming Hori Splatoon headset but the general hardware setup for voice comms will be similar.

which means nobody will be using voice comms lol. this is BS and completely unacceptable for online gaming in 2017.
