Not the best but can be considered as 1 of the most versatile controller. This has Xinput (which is needed for modern PC games) with 4 shoulder buttons and 2 clickable analog sticks. It has Dinput for retro PC gamers. It can also be used with Android, IOS devices and even the Nintendo Switch.

Using it on 3 devices (PC, Switch and phone) now. Dont even have to re-pair their connections :s13:.

Fren brought it in for me. You can get it from TOG though :)
Are there fake ones or all are 8bitdo original? I see it in some sites like this but don't dare to buy yet:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/8BI...a-for-iOS-Android-Windows-PK/32790093019.html

Wanted to get it for Android actually, and in the future when I get a Switch (thus original 8bitdo that works on Switch is important).

btw, there is an app on Android for mapping rt? Do you have a link to it (or at least the name of the app or the dev)?

AFAIK, there is only original as of now (i think so lah :s13:). The 8bitdo controllers are already so cheap so i doubt the pirates would be interested to come out with their cheaper but lousier version.

But then again..everything can be pirated so it really depend on the pirate mood :s22:

As for mapping tools, you can get them here. http://support.8bitdo.com/ (click the tools tab)

Hori-Splatoon-2-headset-625x352.jpg

This is a connection pic of an upcoming Hori Splatoon headset but the general hardware setup for voice comms will be similar.

which means nobody will be using voice comms lol. this is BS and completely unacceptable for online gaming in 2017.

Very very lousy design ... still don't understand why don't make use of the BD for headset/earpiece

so my take is. VC from the get-go once the online services start. which makes business sense if people have to pay to access those classic games.

stop paying = no access
machiam Netflix ala carte style.

so you don't own any of the game. which is going to be a painful thing going forward :s13:
coz no one wants a gaming industry that is based of renting games.
