1 month plan (3.99 a month)
3 month plan ( 2.67 a month) 43.25% off
12 month plan ( 1.67 a month) 58.25% off
Sibei dirt cheap compare to other console online fee

they are offerring old games that has been recycled and free on pc for a very long time...

the only twist is they added online functionality which is unclear atm

not going to read the tea leaves here. but let's wait and see how the services going to work in actuality.

if they can, they certainly can charge the same as their counterparts even if their base cost is low. coz why not? its business after all. maximize profit.

Netflix style is u can watch any titles from their library as long as you stay subscribed.

Iirc Nintendo free monthly game is different. They will give u 1 "free" VC game monthly. After that month, you will have access to a new VC game and lose access to the previous month free game.
they changed their plans le. please refer to the first image.

would be interesting if the voice chat is the joint effort done with Discord

https://discordapp.com/features
A page ago Nintendo was asking you to use a splitter to merge smartphone audio with the Switch for voice chat, I highly highly doubt they'd be capable of tying up with Discord.

In terms of literally anything to do with online functionality, just assume that nintendo is 10 years behind, and maybe add on another 3-4 years just to be safe.

the Switch has done so many things right since launch, and if you've followed Nintendo you'd never expect them to innovate with regards to their online service, but...this. In 2017. Using a smartphone app, a Switch and mushing the audio together with a cheap splitter\merger\whatever completely boggles the mind. IN 2017. also, this setup is obviously meant for handheld play. If you only play docked and want to chat online? Good f'in luck, mate.

Sony has pretty much the same problem with the PS4, where its Bluetooth chip is locked down, but it at least has a varied enough ecosystem where you can pick between a bunch of wireless headsets. Nothing like this exists for the Switch.

Unless Nintendo pulls something miraculous out of its hat this E3 to address the voice comms issue, voice chat for online play, which is something people have taken for granted on PC/PS4/XB1, will only be a very niche thing on the Switch.

Have another pair of original Neon Joy-con. Put them side them side for comparison purposes.

Huh? Nintendo release their games for free on pc?
Or are you talking about pirated ROM?

On the voice chat, I kind of expected this kind of blunder from Nintendo. They always can't seem to grasp industry standard and go out of their way to find "unique" solution which is unnecessary and often complicates things.
This happened before with their stupid account system, Nintendo club, Nintendo point, etc.

US$20 a year, not too ex and not too cheap either, depends on what online games they offer in 2018 since this year online free.

What's the difference? “Classic Games Selection" is like HD remastered, whereas "Virtual Console" is just running the age old original ROM using simulator?
