Get a dockable case to save some trouble
Make sure the dockable case u getting u can take out the joycons without removing the case

if u want cloud save, need online.
not sure if wanna transfer from old to new switch, need online or not.

can just go for US region. mexico has some digital games cheap, so some ppl go there

My blue SL&SR triggers no longer working, cannot be use as independent controller. Sigh... not sure if it’s worth buying a new joycon.

Are there cheaper alternatives?

Go Shopee and search for 3rd party Switch Pro controller. Quality wise, almost as good as the original. Just without the Nintendo Switch Logo

Switch 2 will take a awhile to launch. Don't even have confirmed news that there is a new console coming out. At least will be later than mid 2021. Also, PS5 and Switch are very very different consoles!

Is the problem like no lights on joycon, cannot use as wireless controller? Can only use when attached to the main body?

If same problem then it is not difficult to change that part but make sure you buy the right screwdriver. I bought a triwing but I think is for NDS and the size is larger than joycon's screw. Find it difficult to remove the screws and when I forcefully did, I think the screw thread got stripped a little..

Problem is, I can only buy 1 console with permission of my CO. It is difficult to choose either PS5 or wait for Switch 2.

if it's true, will have news on it already. totally fake news. just decide whether which type of games on the console suits you more.

if switch games suit you more, then just wait. switch 2 wont be so soon
