Are they still out of stock for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Switch in Japan? When I was there in April, both Osaka and Tokyo stores are out of stock, only the Splatoon one is avail for special edition.

That's why I got my BTO Switch instead.

Still OOS, even for newly released Zelda, Pokémon and splatoon. This splatoon I hoot from Singapore, more ex but Bo Bian…

Of cos bro, I'm also a Switch user since 2019 when I got my first Switch 'Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee' edition, bought from Jewel Pokemon Center. Used almost daily for nearly 4 years before upgrading to current OLED model due to aging and Joy-Cons began to experience drifting.

No regrets getting Switch from Japan (bought from Shibuya) as it's only around S$379. The special/limited edition ones are only S$10 more. When I got my first Switch, was S$649!

So just nice go there holiday and needed an upgrade, must buy haha….

Actually I initially wanted to get the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Switch. After knowing they’re OOS, wanted to just come back SG buy, but the cost is a lot more. Then my wife saw the BTO Switch, so just chose the colour of the Joy-Cons and straps and I’m good. Bought the standard case for it, also much cheaper than here.

how to compare switch and ipad, totally different thing. both different kind of games too, console vs mobile games.

carousell price consider cheap liao, u can resell too if u dont keep games. digital games i feel more expensive even on discount, unless u buy digital games regularly, they give coins which you can use to offset inside eshop as discount.

if not make use of shopee/lazada/qoo10 for promo switch games.

if not lastly, they have this ingame voucher where u can purchase for 2 games. this is only worth to spend on AAA/first party games like their zelda and etc (use voucher to buy on those expensive egames)

Those games are download via account sharing and i have seen ppl got their console banned becoz of this. Not worth the risk.
