for context
http://www.apple.com/sg/shop/buy-ipad/ipad-mini-2

iPad Mini 2 32GB = 398SGD

so for sure will be more ex than that.

anyone got Wii U starting price here in Singapore? or no one cared?:s13:
For PS4, the HK and TW price is same as US. But the official Sony price for South East Asia (SG included) is higher. We have to pay SGD50 to USD50 more even when buying from Sony. Since Nintendo doesn't even have SG office, it's up to Maxsoft, really can't expect same price as US or HK.

Interested in the Switch. Like what I see so far but I'm waiting for a more impressive lineup of games first before buying.

So it's 1080P max on TV while docked and 720P on the go right?

actually i am kinda glad they have a small lineup for launch.

Zelda is not a big sales number series (sorry Zelda fans). the numbers are always Mario and Pokemons.
http://vgsales.wikia.com/wiki/Best_selling_franchises

so almost everyone will be getting Zelda (soft or hard copy). after 2 month or so, we get Mario Kart. and then we have this and that and finally the new Mario game. don't forget there is E3 in between. they don't wan some titles to be buried because of Zelda.

but still 3rd party support from bigger brands (EA, Activision) is worrying.

Then again, even if many 3rd party support from bigger brands.. they will still be releasing games already present on other consoles / platforms.

Honestly i wouldn't bother with multiplats on the switch. They will be underpowered anyways compared to the PS4/XB1/PC versions, more ex somemore like the wii u games. Will only get those 3rd party titles historically available only on nintendo consoles like shin megami tensei series, fire emblem series, project octopath traveller from the bravely default series dev, etc.

That is why PC + Nintendo will always be the best combo.

Not if sony continues to hog all those exclusives lol. More like PS4 + nintendo would be best combo currently. No need gaming PC, any ultrabook or surface pro can play mobas good enough

Wait, the 3.5mm earphone jack is only for 2 ring connector (left, right, no mic)?

Come to think of it, if the Switch is docked or in desktop mode, how are you supposed to use a mic (assuming wired and connected to the 3.5mm jack)? Really need mobile phone app ah? :s22:

Does the Switch support bluetooth earphone/headset (with or without mic)?

It has 4.1 bluetooth, whether or not they restrict the usage like PS4, nobody knows. Personally i think should be fine, seeing they employ other universal functions (USB C, micro sd slot).

Supposedly the Switch pre order on Amazon Japan sold out in minutes... Pre order opened at 9am. One guy claims he added to cart at 9:05 but by about 9:06am, sold out.

So those of you planning to buy it at My Nintendo store, better get ready

so.....anyone here preorder already? or still hesitating?
will wait.

there are still a bunch of questions that Nintendo needs to answer.

for me:
1) Virtual Console availability (if available on day 1, I will place my order)
2) Trophy system (don't really care)
3) price of online services (not going to get anyway)
4) local price

so for me it is only #1. maybe I should go place a preorder later :(

really don't wanna buy into another Sega Saturn and Dreamcast, so I will wait it out

and I really hope there is a lot of 60fps games. the console with the most 60fps games = more powerful console. resolution is for the pixel pervs.
and most games are ports, so don't expect them to run @60fps
