Is this really official anker distributor? It seems way too cheap.

I think we need USB-C with PD to really charge the switch fast.

Any powerbank with QC3.0 or whatever doesnt work with the switch as it doesnt support it.

That is the exactly the same one I have been looking at. Seems like this is the best bet for now.

For those who bought xiaomi power bank gen 2 and can't charge the Switch when playing Zelda, are you using the USB cable from Xiaomi? Try using a different USB A to C cable and try again. I read in some forums some user changed their cable and it works fine.

It comes with only USB-A to Micro USB cable. I tried with 5 different types of USB-A to USB-C cables, all show the same volt/amp draw.

Well i do use samsung note 4 charger to charge my switch in turn off mode it works

And using my Sony power bank if i put brightness to 75% it charges the switch.

But i just came back from a europe flight the switch basically was on a 25% brightness ..... so the sony powerbank was charging

Thank god for the switch -.- the guy keep snoring and leaning toward me with bad breath.....

Based on the 20v power rule, I'll hazard a guess that this is not Qualcomm QuickCharge but USB Power Delivery. The Switch can use the 12V power rule.

it will work just a matter of will it charge the switch when you are playing with airplane mode off and full brightness and volume.

Cos turn airplane mode on, with 75% brightness and using headset LOZ: BOTW drained the switch much slower.

But if you are talking about putting to sleep mode and charge surely no issue

So many cable now :

1. Usb3.0 to USB C (Bought it initally to charge the switch but not so fast)
2. Usb3.0 to micro usb ( to charge powerbank)
3. Usb to apple charger (charge iphone duh)

Well so far i'm using a $6 SGD 90 degree USBA to USBC to charge my switch while on a tablet stand while playing. Work with no issue.

Sometime is better to get a shorter cable it does charge faster if the source is from powerbank

and a mirco usb to lightning head. 1 less cable

My experience with Belkin was not so good.

Basically i brought a lighting cable during one of my work trip.

Left my cable in the plane -.-

And the belkin plastic just crack near the usb head due to the fact i was always carrying it ard and twisting my cable as i keep taking it in and out while playing pokemon go.

and the cable was useless less than a month.

But i dont see it as a problem for the switch.

But since that incident i always buy the flat cable or the fabric cable.

comparing anker vs aukey..i would prefer aukey more for now....anker used to be quite good...but recent batch quality seem like no good. bought the 6 ports charger and have issue. charging slow + will have power leakage
