yes bro, people will not know how the feeling is like until it hit them one day.
Till now, i am still griveing and still hurts , everyday keep on thinking...and the feeling is completely different.
I am suffering in pain, and not only that, i have to clear my house, throw stuff away where it used to be there happily ...now everything changed...and i am really feeling tired. At home is completely different.
The feeling is indescribable, nobody will understand unless one has gone thru the same.

Do I want my family to cry/sad when I die? No….

yes a simple no grand type of funeral cost at least $17k and if misc cost added, it come up around $30k.

It depends on belief because some not ready to say goodby to their bodies
Also it’s for others to put respect to them n see them for the last time

U can only say extra for ur own but not for others because ur extra mah not be their extra

Tell funeral company/director don’t want wake. See if able to get same day cremation if not next day. If want to keep the cost low just use a van don’t need hearse.

Can be done. Let the caretaker know of your intention. Caretaker will collect body and keep it in their fridge as they book a slot for cremation. The cremation slot need to book, can’t be immediately unless is Muslim or Indian. Have a simple farewell at the cremetorium. Does not mean a grand funeral mean respect the died. Sometimes is the died’s wish to have a quiet farewell so have to respect their last wish for the died to go in peace.

i single ownself need to plan own wake and funeral in future too ,
if no people come to wake also sad or if no wake being held is called heartless

Sending off is mainly own relatives.

Cai lam passed away. He should have many friends but he never held a wake. Cremated on the same day he passed on. Sometimes having a wake is not necessary. It is just for the living people

Just engage a party to do some prayers to calm the soul of deceased then send for cremation

For me next time will be like that because nobody will care to come to my wake if there is one
