think the idea is show your daughters more of the world when they are young, so they won't be led astray by the pai kias in school/ not so easy to cheat. boys on the other hand, can be abit rougher with them.

but ya, doesn't mean we should raise girls to be entitled. think it's possible to do both.

Doing both may be the mistake all along that led to the problems today. Hence the Chinese saying of one pair of legs on two boats will end up broken or something. Cos if a girl thinks she can find prince charming, she wouldn't develop the strength and confidence to stand on her own 2 feet.


Perhaps only some westerners have a rough idea as they may have had a head start in a more egalitarian or gender equal upbringing and society.

Maybe the solution is to look at things more objectively and to avoid making assumptions based on traditional/asian society. New world, new conditions, so maybe we need new expectations and new goals.

so she grew up kinda acting like a boy because she wanted to differentiate herself from the prettier sister

it turned out really well because she's way more interesting than her boring pretty sister

really though? I still think it's important to handhold them out to see more of the world, but then instill in them the value of money, how to recognise good friends, what a stable relationship is like etc.,

Nuture. Niece goes for karate and judo. Wushu CCA. She’s going to kick arse and chew bubblegum if someone crosses her.

Bonus point if your gene cui her face also cui . Confirm plus chop no princess syndrome

Acherly we don't have to say sometimes cos we can think of all the factors in detail. Maybe that's why u say rare. And I can tell u just comparing different country people shows great differences already. Then compare different eras.

I'm not saying there is no diff between men and women. I'm saying the culture and systems amplify the differences quite alot. Perhaps cos the system wants to harness the differences for higher productivity.

Even comparing straight men with ghey men the main differences come from the rainbow ghey culture. And not so much in the bio chemical differences.

It's your daughter, you can do whatever you want. Girls are genetically different from boys. You can't change that. My girls will just jump out from her room, do a round turn to show me her dress and said, "Papa, I am so pretty." Nobody needs to teach her how to do that, it's all natural. My boys never do such thing.

I agree but guess theoretically need a variety of different conditions and systems to see the full range of possibilities for women and men. Maybe that's what the whole world is for. Think some studies in Denmark or Netherlands stated that even given all opportunities for equality, most women chose to do jobs like nursing.

Not only my girl will display all the traits of any girls, my wife will also want to bring her to balley etc and so, regardless it's genetics or upbringing, girls will be girls, which I am happy that's the case.

Girls should be girls and girls only. Boys should be men and men only. Nothing else.

You can say I am traditional, old schools whatever. Others can be LGBTQ whatever, so long as not my kids.
