im sure it cheapest for a reason, nonetheless, buy buy buy!

Woodlands has always been one of the cheapest estates but it's potential for growth could be the strongest among many districts given that the woodland regional centre is comparable to Jurong Regional Centre and Jurong East has risen up by so much.

Woodlands Masterplan was just a upgrade with more greenery and amenities. Is pale in comparison compared to JE where it is called the 2nd CBD, 2 new shopping malls and terminal for the HSR to KL.

Which area can go to central fast with Thomson line, North south highway, sle, be?
Which one can go changi fast? Which one can go jb fast and furious?
Which area connect to west, east, central and north east easily?
Close to zoo and nature reserve.

Taken from masterplan north:
With the future cross-border rail link to Malaysia, Woodlands Regional Centre is set to come into its own as the Northern Gateway to Singapore. Featuring some 700,000m² of new commercial space and more than 100ha of developable land, the growth of the Woodlands Regional Centre will anchor the development of the North Coast Innovation Corridor.

I stay in the north and I do agree with your sentiments. The plan pales in comparison with Jurong East. The business park is catered to SME and Malaysian businesses compared to MNCs in Jurong East. Plus no government agency has committed to move to the north as compared to Bca and Mnd in JE.

Out of all the EC we saw, my family and I still like Northwave and bought a 3 BR unit there, even though I have gotten a date to choose a BTO unit for Bidadari in Jan 2018. I stay in Bukit Timah but still like the environment plus it’s only 300 units in this EC, compared to the others which i find can be quite complicated and crowded esp those nearer to mrt. Personal choice I Guess, NW doesn’t seem as negative as what I have read in this thread, not really too far from the mrt either.

wow, you are giving up one of the best location bto. sacrificing location is quite a huge decision to make.

the EC temptation is really hard to resist but letting go bidadari and going north is really a huge difference.

hope all ends well though. :D

Well, we all know that Jurong is going to be the next big thing for Singapore in decades to come.

Frankly, the sales of NW isn't as bad as it seems, only 3bdr are left and the existing EC units in Singapore is drying up fast if this goes on.

Buy or not, I'll say it's a personal preference. Some like the sea (even if it faces west sun), some prefer tranquility (even if there's no transport), etc.

No matter what, just enjoy your purchase ;).

Probably first time someone try to sell so hard about the North.

Which area can go to central fast with Thomson line, North south highway, sle, be? Ans: Anywhere central or city fringe

Which one can go changi fast? Ans: Anywhere in the East?

Which one can go jb fast and furious? Ans: That depends on the traffic at the checkpoint. Even someone who stayed in Woodlands can take 2 hrs to cross

Which area connect to west, east, central and north east easily? Ans: Toa Payoh

Close to zoo and nature reserve. Ans: depends where u start from, Bukit Panjang or Khatib.

The North is a good place with its own charm and uniqueness but maybe you should sell something that is true for Woodlands, or u really look like a fool here.

Northwave EC Really good investment at only $700+ psf

Just imagine Sumang $1200 psf upcoming...

Too bad Northwave EC has no showflat at the moment. Only the brave dare to buy.

Northwave also close to 90% sold.

EC with large patio + unique design.

Lowest psf out of all EC. Imagine only $700+ psf compared to Sumang EC $1000 psf, a 50% increase in psf!

Northwave is still having a special discount!

Most affordable EC with lowest psf.

Most cozy EC (fewest no of units)

Surrounded by 5 MRTs.

Connected to the upcoming Thomson MRT line and Thomson expressway.

Amazing to say it is ‘surrounded’ by 5 MRT stations.

And the nearest one is Admiralty Station, 1.3km away if I am not wrong.
