Note 2 Data disconnection whatsapp lag

I called starhub before. they say nothing wrong with their network and signal. then ask me to switch off data, restart phone and on back data... but doesnt help at all.

sometimes i think those CSO dun even know how to give solutions...just anyhow give some crap solutions in the hope that u can hang up the phone faster

just did a test on 2 note2.... 1 is on ST n the other is SH....*Is comfirm SH problem...

when I use ST to send to SH... without open watapps... it does not receive immediately. ... only when I open watapps than the msg com in....*

After that I send another msg from ST to SH again... the msg com in immediately cos I already open watapps app....*

After tat I clear all my app running on the SH.... n put to sleep mode... than I send another msg from ST... same thing happen... no msg com in till I on open my watapps again...*

After tat I use my SH to send msg to ST... immediately it msg com in... I even ask my friend to clear all running apps from the ST phone n put to sleep mode n I send msg again.... it receive msg immediately. ...*

Than I try send a msg from ST to ST.... no problem....

Each test must be done at 20mins interval without the phone waking up.

Could it be Android problem? Perhaps that's how Android Gtalk heartbeat interval works for notifications? Because my friend who is using iPhone and on Singtel, Whatsapp get prompted instantly for new messages. While I need to access into Whatsapp, then messages flow in. I doubt is Whatsapp nor the telco issues, is the OS itself perhaps?

ysterday had a gathering with some friends, 1 of them is running late. so 3 of use were sitting at the table chatting. the one running late sent a text thru our group whatsapp... The friend with ST got the message, mine from SH, no sound, no shadow, the other friend on M1 also no notification...
