Note 9 turns green suddenly.

Hi fellows,

This shocked me today my note 9 barely 2 years suddenly the screen turns green and not responsive.
I was still using it fine in the morning, then suddenly screen becomes green. No dropping or anything today as well as before.

Anyone has experienced this, and can advise recovery. Or is it hardware issue that need to go service center.

maybe it turn green wit envy lookin at the Note 20 that just launched. Or sick from seeing the launch.

On a more serious note, hope it gets fixed soon.

Or is it panel issue or anything faulty, and possible expected cost if anyone has faced this before.

I have the same issue as you. All you need to do now is to email to samsung " email to CEO" to get it sort out. See what they can do for you

I had the same issue. Brought it down to the service centre and was told it was screen degradation. According to the technician, it was caused by heavy pressure made to the screen such as dropping, sitting on it etc. Can't recalled how much I paid for the replacement. Think was between 250 to 350.

Could say Samsung phone best nit use over 2yrs
By then Samsung already no more support your phone firmware or security update loao
Unless u don’t mind no updste then jusr use until if rip

I also had the same issue sometime back. Didn't realise it was a common issue caused by firmware updates.

Don't think Samsung will do anything to resolve this. Forcing you to either change phone or change screen.

same thing happened to my s10+, end up i went to carousell and found that actually many other samsung devices have the same issue
i suspect its something burnt in the lcd chip controller, on very high or very low brightness it is ok right?

i saw some listing on carousell where the seller said there is an app to fix, just that you must use the app to change brightness, cannot use the normal brightness controller
not sure what app is that

it happened to my phone this afternoon too.
called Samsung and they asked me to send the receipt/contract & a pic of my screen. now waiting for their reply if can reply FOC.
last day of my warranty was 4 days ago
i never had a hp that 'died' so early.

Just enable the display always on and then u solve it.

Mine has been like tat for at least 6months liao. Phone working fine but just this stupid problem.

use pwm free or oled saver.. the lcd is dying.
