Note 9 turns green suddenly.

Its the price for a premium note or galaxy high range that make us angry with software update than faulty..
If the Samsung note or galaxy cost 500-700 ranges we can still compare..

Thing is only used 2 years + then spoil, endup consumer need to be begger go service centre to beg for repair.

Try calling Samsung CS first. See if they can get approval for free repair. If its approved, then go down to the service centre. By then, they will have record that it's a free repair, save the hassle of explaining n arguing if u go down service centre straight away.

Very moody. My note 9 finally ganna the green screen like what you all described. Last security updates was just a day or 2 ago.

Thanks for the suggestion, now install oled saver app, now can use note 9 as per normal.
Save me a few hundred dollars..................

My wife export note 9 which has no update at all since day 1 has no problem at all.

Do you all think it is really samsung updates at fault? My note 4 was spoilt also after updating firmware. Now my note 9..........

Somehow I wish I never have any updates. Other than cause problem to our phone, the added features doesn't really matters.

I've stopped buying Samsung phones since my year-old Note 9 turned green. Note series used to be my primary phone all these years, mainly because of the pen.

Now in the midst of working towards switching to Apple as primary phone. Getting myself used to ignoring the Note as much as I can.

My first S8 got the green issue after first year. Got a free replacement via samsung warranty and then the second S8 got the green issue after 2 years.

Just changed to Samsung A31. Cheap and good.

Soft ware issue. Try factory reset

My n9 turned green hue after firmware update 2 years ago, lucky is not as bad,so used until change to xperia1ii recently. But still shocking this can happen. Have also updated to one ui2.5,still greenish. So it's hopeless

I think something to do with it's auto brightness and ambient sensor flaw.

Happened to mine also during new year eve. And got myself a fold 2 on new year day. My note 9 is less then 2 years old and this happened. Damn sad.
