banks and financial institutions don't pay 2-6 months bonus to developers. They pay high basic but little to no bonus. So in the end your salary is actually higher when working in tech firms.

project manager for too long has been jlb and cho bo, all don't want to do work, go be project manager and ditched devs roles. took too long for the market to realise and reward devs instead of their project manager.

H've meet many programmers over 40yrs old in US and Europe... and only one in reddot working for creative... but later this fellow migrated...
that's the culture here... if your never become a manager its a failure... also there are not many hardcore developer jobs here to build product from ground up.... mostly service, sales and marketing...

Yes banks and financial can pay this amount for senior devs, but usually for more experienced like > 10 years exp. For 5 years exp getting 12k must be very zai and employed by FAANG like companies.
