For this particular launch, tying yourself to one specific vendor when nobody knows whether they would even be able to get the specific card that you need (eg. due to GPU length or width or height) doesn't seem like the best idea.

I may just use a forwarder and ship a 5080 over from the LGBTQ states.

US MSRP is US999/SGD1355, after US AIB markup is US1199/SGD1625.

Local SGD1660 so no chance to buy at MSRP, even @ MSRP its already another $300 before distro and shop profit, after giving money to those 2 useless areas, the cost for a 5080 locally should be near 2k or even more.

This also means that used card price will not fall too since the cost price for new card is just way too high.
