except they are gouging it. the 5070 is supposed to be what the 7900gre cost, so closer to the $800 mark. the fact that the needle has basically stayed the same when it should at least be a small step forward means the distros are hoping that u would just suck up the price difference on a product u shouldnt be buying anyway.

Don't think so, not many cards in the US market either.

Actually, the same thing happened last year with the MSI RTX 4080 Super Suprim X. OOS on launch and I was wait-listed for about two months before the card became available for sale.

icic, i rerun without high res texture packs(both cards with mild overclock), your 5080 perform quite a bit better than mine, is it overclocked by a lot or it just cpu diff? if got good setting can share

That score is from the game itself or the Benchmark Demo?

Is this with the latest AMD chipset drivers & BIOS in addition to Nvidia drivers, I haven't updated to 1.2.0.3a yet, and also the latest 7.02.13.148 AMD Chipset drivers? I saw MH:Wilds say that must install those two things to get better performance.

Anyways installing it today and later I test performance to see if it helps.
