anyone know how i can change my dns in my singtel aztech router? Just bought getflix and cant seem to find where to edit the dns in my router admin page to use in my nvidia shield.

I'm using full HD TV. I watched some full HD youtube video but don't look so HD to me. Those 4K video trailer looks sharp. How do I check the youtube video resolution that I'm watching or change it?

Make sure the devices are connected. On the home screen, scroll to the bottom and select shield accessories>>battery life

If u're using the native youtube app, during playback, select the HQ icon and u can choose the resolution

Hey, thanks! I watched some video about the shield TV. Many are talking about kodi even for the Apple TV. I installed kodi also but there's nothing inside. May I know those videos in kodi are bought and own by the users or it's streaming just like those youku apps?

Kodi support both local and online content. For local content, you need to configure it so that it can find your media. For online, do a search for Kodi addons. You can also launch other Android apps from Kodi->program, so it can be your main interface on your TV.

Anyone having a similar problem with me? Can stream 4K@60FPS on netflix and youtube but geforce now is only smooth with GRID3 and lego games other games are stuttering and unplayable.

Check which GeForce servers you are connected to, it should be something like South East Asia or Asia. Do a Network Check, I get around 80ms ping, but no lags whatsoever.

Sometimes is their servers are having issues, happened to me once next day was ok. Singapore actually not supported country so there's that.

I just tried playing batman arkham origins and it plays fine. Smooth gameplay.

Kodi = Application , you need to install stuff in order to get Kodi streaming stuff. Otherwise it only does local playback from usb or sd card

In order to stream you need to add repositories, basically url links that kodi can access and stream(watch live tv etc) from. You do this in system>file manager>add ons.

For chinese language go to system>skin appearance change font type from default to arial

Private internet access works fine but not for geforce now
DNS based services seem to work better for streaming stuff. Unotelly,getflix etc

Region lock services require DNS or VPN. DNS has better results as your internet speeds arent really throttled at the expense of encryption.VPN = encrypted+fake location, DNS = Not encrypted just fake your location.

I used to use SmartDNSproxy, it had issues with GeForce Now network, it routed the GeForce Now network thru US DNS as well, got terrible latency as a result. After I switched to GetFlix, the GeForce Now network was switched to Asia servers. So I can play GeForce Now games using Asia servers and watch Netflix, Hulu using the DNS service.

You need to enter the DNS servers in your router, the Shield TV will auto pick up the DNS.
