Oh, I'm not using UOB at all. Do not want any business with them especially if it involves credit cards. It's a bit trickier if you put recurring bills on your credit cards.

Normally I partially pay my bills with credit card and then the rest can giro.

For the 1% bonus interest that says any increment in your bank account, does it mean as long as my current month's balance is more than last month's, I will get the 1% interest?

Just share my new logic, valid for people 50k++ savings and around 500 CC monthly spending (bigger spenders might have better lobangs :s13:)

May
Put first 50k in UOB One account - 2.43%
Put next 60k in OCBC 360 - 1.75%
The rest in eSaver (my March balance is $1 :D) - 1.25% to 1.4%

June onwards:
Put first 50k in UOB One account - 2.43%
Put next 60k in OCBC 360 - 1.75%
The rest in StarSaver - 0.8 or 0.9%

How to achieve 2.43% in UOB and 1.75% in OCBC 360:
1. Spend $500 in UOB one credit card
2. Setup 3 Giro with UOB
3. Credit Salary with OCBC 360
4. Pay 3 online bills with OCBC 360

Some other considerations:
- Maybank iSAVvy Savings Plus Account
It's good if we can combo this with the new 360 top up bonus, but to be eligible for iSaVvy bonus interest, daily balance need to increase in consecutive 6 months. So, I think cannot use this

- eSaver after 31 May
SCB always come up with promo bonus interest rate on incremental daily balance, let's wait and see the next promo.

If anyone got better combination, do share with me :D

not many pple have 6 bills to pay

You will get 1% on the incremental balance.

April Average balance is 60k.

May Average balance is 65k.

You will earn Base interest 0.05% + incremental balance 1% = 1.05% (per annum ) on the 5k increase.

Which is roughly equal to (1.05/100 x $5000) / 12 months = SGD$4.375

for OCBC360, you can split your bills to be paid over 2 months ... say due date is 4 Jun 15. You pay one amount in late May (for May's internet banking payment quota) & remainder pay in early Jun (for Jun's quota) ... tada ... 3 bills become 6 payments liao !!

no as in i also have the 365 card. in order to get high % rebates. i need to spend at least $600 on my ocbc 365.

so i spam all my giro bills to ocbc 365.

nth left for me to giro for uob

I didn't know you can arrange for GIRO payment for bills with credit card. Must look into this.

Hi there vEr5eX

Are you referring to the new Save Bonus Interest category for 360 accounts? The increment is meant for monthly average balances, not month-end balance.

- Increase your current month average daily balance from previous month
- Incremental balance is the difference between the current month average daily balance and previous month
- The Save bonus interest is paid on the incremental balance (up to $1,000,000.)

Hope this clarifies!

Good morning kokitty

We're really sorry for the inconvenience. You were right, some of our customers did face some issues logging in yesterday morning due to high traffic.

Once we knew about it, it was quickly rectified and you should have been able to log back in by 8am. Do let us know if you're still facing issues logging in!
