We shouldn't put more than 60k into OCBC 360 acc as the effective interest rate will by then reduced. Use OCBC calculator to try out, if u just completed 2 basic tasks: salary credit and online bill payment, this acc can yield 1.78% p.a interest for u. Beyond 60k, the effective interest rate will fall below that as the bonus interest is covering 1st 60k only..

U mean 1.75 not 1.78?

Is there any website to view product info for structured deposits for extra 1% interest on the 360 acc?

not interested to go down to branch to listen to briefing.

Hi lasnoblur,

You could refer to our website "http://www.ocbc.com/personal-banking/accounts/360-account.html" for more information on the eligible products that would entitle you to the 1%p.a. bonus interest.

Hi ocbc. For card spending of $500 for the 360 account does it matter what kind of transaction?

For example if I have robinson card and there is a installment plan of $400 every mth. And I link my robinson card to ez link/nfp to do auto top up of $100. Will both transaction be eilligle to count as the $500 spend?

I guess that means my transactions is counted?

Actually I did read that before I post but I just need a confirmation. haha.
OCBC is forcing me to cancel my other two cards (365 and frank) before they are willing to waive my annual fee for my robinson card. Thats kind of sad coz i use the 365 card as my main card to hit the 500 for additional interest.

But since I just a signed a montly installment plan ($400) for robinson i guess i will just link to a ezlink/nfp auto top up for the next 1 year and switch to uob yolo.

OCBC has earned too much. Getting less friendly for its cards like Frank & 360 Account.

UOB is happily eating its pie.

Anyone knows how to set up sms notification for transactions in the account. For example, when there is an inward transaction, say salary credited, a sms will be sent to you.

Tried to change the setting in ibanking but still don't receive sms when i got inward transactions.

Interest earned depends on how many criteria you meet. Refer to the official website for the criteria.

not sure the 1% interest you mentioned is for which criteria

1.2% for credit salary. 0.5 for making 3 payments via this bank account, 0.5 for hitting 500 in credit card payments

Hi bumdssa,

You could set up e-alerts for deposits to your account via Internet Banking.

Here are the steps:

1. Customer Service
2. Manage e-Alerts
3. Other transactions via other banking channels
4. Deposits
- Set Threshold

Do try this out, and let us know if it still doesn't work for you.
