Hi OCBC, I have a question regarding the payment bonus interest: If I were to pay insurance premiums for two different policies under the same organisation via giro arrangement, does it count as paying 2 unique bills?

Hi,

If the bill reference number differs, it will count as 2 unique bills.

Keep us posted as well.

If OCBC decided to change for the worst, all members here will surely "support" it.

I am quite upset today after hearing from your CSO that my late charge is not able to be waived. Without trying to find any excuse, yes, I have forgotten to pay but it was late for just one day.

And honestly, this is the first time I ever get rejected for waiver which I never expect to come from a bank which I have been using for years.

This has left a very bad impression. And slowly but surely, I will going to bring my business to else where.

Hi thyler,

All waiver requests are thoroughly reviewed before an outcome is given. We apologise that we are not able to accede to your request.

It's actually quite sad to hear that OCBC has been getting a relatively high number of negative feedback from its customers on this forum.

I remember back some years ago when I was recommending OCBC 360 and Frank card to my friends and relatives. OCBC's iBanking is also easy to use. How times have changed.

... and it's a cut and paste reply without answering your question directly.

You are lucky to get a reply. Mine they didn't bother to reply through ibanking secured email aft waiting for 1 month. what a disappointing service.

Same here bro. I am quite impressed with their service when they launch OCBC 360 account until recently I discovered their service has dropped substantially. My biggest regret in life is to recommend this product to few of my friends recently.

why do we need to come to a forum so you can arrange for a CSO to call us? what about those people who don't come to this forum? ocbc doesn't seem to reply to ibanking messages and doesn't answer phone. please just close down, ocbc does not deserve anyone's business.

i can only say because they are 2 different entities. Call centre is not in SG but this OCBC Bank person is trying to salvage what can be done locally. Kudos to him, but still a big boo to their call centre.

i have nothing against the ocbc reps in this forum. but obviously their job sucks, their company sucks, and they should find a better company to work for.

Want to check this clause from Payment Bonus

Multiple bill payments on the same bill within the calendar month will be considered as a single payment.

Lets say cc bill, SGD 1000. I pay $250 x 4 = 4 payments? or 1 payment?
