1) The rebates on frank and ocbc 365 are totally separate so you can get max $60+$80.

2) spending $2000 on frank does not even mean you can get $60 rebate. It depends what you spend on. Some spendings dun even qualify for rebate. And you need min $400 spending offline to get 6% rebate for online spending, 3% for 2x flashpay atu, 3%/5% for movie/cafe/pub/karaoke/club, of not then just max 0.3% rebate.

3) suggest you go understand the rebate scheme for the cards before you make further spending. Anyway, OCBC cards not that good compared to other bank cards.

So long the spending are posted in the same calendar month, doesn't matter which one come first

Quick question:

For a M1 bill of say, $39 dollars, can I first

1) pay the full bill using credit card (counted as part of $500 spent on OCBC credit card?)

2) pre-pay $1 (counted as 1 of 3 bills for payments online?)

Thanks!

Thanks!

One more question: what about those conservancy charges where we can opt to have them charged on a recurring basis direct to the credit card? Are they counted as part of the credit card spending?

Yes counted.

According to OCBC website:
These transactions do not qualify for this bonus:

Balance transfers
Cash advance
Cashwise
Paylite
Smartchange
Fund transfers
Fees and charges

Hi OCBC , for the monthly 3 bills payment are there any minimum amount? Can we do a $1 payment to each bill so as to qualify for the 3 bills 0.5% bonus interest. And pay the remaining with our CC to hit the $500 cc spend interest.

Another question would be let say I have frank and 365 CC. I use my 360 account to pay for this 2 CC, does it counts as 2 bill payment?

Better delete this question fast.

Some people just doesnt have the foresight.

He could have just tested made payment and check in ibanking the next day or two days later but instead ask and risk the loophole to be closed.

Well done.

As long you make payment (any amount including $0.01), yes you will get the bonus. The catch is you need to make two separate bill payment to two different vendor.

One credit card payment considered one bill payment. Two bill payment to the same credit card is still considered one bill payment.

http://www.businesstimes.com.sg/companies-markets/ocbcs-360-account-pulls-in-30-per-cent-more-deposits

DEPOSITS in OCBC's headline 360 Account have jumped 30 per cent from a year ago, as the bank reaps first-mover advantage from having rejigged the way it pulls in the savings of young professionals, a top executive said in an interview with The Business Times.

Its head of consumer financial services Singapore, Dennis Tan, said that in a competitive market, the bank is committed to offering higher interest rates for its 360 Account, which pays customers interest by the number of transactions they make with the bank - that is, the strength of their relationship with the bank - rather than the amount of money they park in it.

He added that the bank will soon "change the construct" of the savings account, but declined to elaborate.

Of the 360 account, he said: "I think we have shown the commitment. We're not here to lower the rate."
