Hi All,
anyone maintained 50k inside the account for the whole month?? Did you get $2.12 of interest? I seem have to less than that.. I made top up to the account till it's 50k on the 1st of may and i maintained it throughout the month..
If i do FAST transfer, it should be considered as money is in on that day itself?? i wonder if 1st may being a public holiday is the issue...

I also has same problem, called ocbc, they said it does not count. I do not know how to make it as GIRO-salary. Maybe ocbc just play the words game, do not wana pay for that.
Hi OCBC Bank,

My Salary Giro description is:
GIRO-IBG
STS PYT- <Company Name>

Please clarify whether it is countered.

Thanks.

hi guys does any of you know the date range for which the interest is calculated?

i had a 1k initial deposit on 5th May and my salary was credited through this mode "GIRO-IBG" on 26th May...

i just got an interest of 5 cents but obviously it seems to be based on that 1k deposit...

is it because 26th may was out of the date range?

1st, bonus interest is credited into your account around 12th of the month; 2nd "Giro-IBG" is not the label which OCBC required, have to be "Giro-salary". so disappointed about it.

Guys can help me to hit $400.

The 3 bills like easy but this $400 quite a lot.

How you all normally use? I don't drive

Hmmm...should not be a problem!!! Use Frank Credit Card with NetsFlashpay.

1. Using NetsFlaspay as MRT Card: $50 per month
2. Fairprice/Sheng Siong purchases using NetsFlashpay: $100 Per month
3. Telecom/Broadband/TV bills online payment: $100
4. Towncouncil bills online payment via VBOX: $50
5. Miscellaneous credit card purchases: $100

Actually, items 1-4 itself can add upto $400+

No, this is a diffrent payment option. Linked to your Frank Credit Card is the NetsFlashpay function. The amount is deducted from this, and in turn NetsFP gets topped up thru ATU function at MRTs/Buses. This will be charged to your Frank Credit Card.

how can you charge $100 at ntuc? if balance only 30 after take mrt. i think this balance can be use as cashcard for ERP etc etc

ATU only at bus/smrt and each time add $50 when yr balance become 0

Yea i just signed up for one as well for credit salary and pay 3 bills. but the rest of my bills are still paid buy citi credit card for miles.

But wont be using OCBC frank card for purchases. Mostly using card at atm card and ez-link/netflashpay.

Not sure about the rest of u, but i've been having some customer svc related issues with them. It's quite troublesome.
