Thought of applying both Account 360 and 365 Credit Card soon. Seems like it is a good combi to satisfy that min.$400 spending for that 1% and 365 is free for the first 2 years.

Any comments?

Depends on your spending pattern:
Account 360 + 365 Credit card: For rebates min spend 600, favorable for Petrol and Dining spends
Account 360 + Frank Credit card: For rebates minimum spend 500, favorable for online spends which can include online shopping, online telco bill payments and embedded FlashPay card top up via ATU. Flashpay can be used for shopping at various merchants including FairPrice.
BTW, nowadays nobody pays annual fee for the credit cards.

Eligibility for OCBC Credit card spend bonus (min $400)

Does anyone here know if the amount I pay for the auto top-up EZLink card using an OCBC credit card will be considered toward credit-card-spend-bonus requirement in order to get the additional 1% interest rate?
How about paying bills (phone bill, Internet bill) online using OCBC credit card?
Thanks in advance :)

Sorry if these are repeated novice questions.

Just set up a 360 account recently, now looking for a credit card, most likely leaning toward Frank.

Would like to clarify if
1) $400 CC spending for the extra 1% is total principal + supplementary cards spending? Or just principal?

2) Frank has two years fees waiver?

If we were to set up savings goals in our 360 account, will those monies in the "goals" enjoy 3.05% interest given that we hit all 3 criteria?

Thanks.

"S$32.10 (2 years waived for Principal and Supplementary Cards). A minimum of S$6,000 annual Visa spend is required for subsequent annual fee waiver."

if i buy anything at ntuc when i use maybank ff cc 5% cash rebate leh

Use OCBC FRANK Credit Card NETS FLASHPAY 6% rebate ( up to $60 rebate / month , ie max $1k spend / month )

so when use ntuc vouchers still have ntuc linkpoint and union rebate?

Buy voucher no linkpoint, but when you use voucher to pay, you get linkpoint and union rebate for the full amount.

Example - bill is $21, I pay using $20 voucher, balance by OCBC FRANK Credit Card NETS FLASHPAY. You get $21 amount for the linkpoint and union rebate calculation

ATU have to sign up and link is it?

When you apply and get the OCBC Frank Card, the NETS flashpay ATU is automatically activated.

when u say Go NTUC buy $45 vouchers using Nets Flashpay, does it mean also can buy things not only vouchers as long payment is by Nets Flashpay?

Yes. You can buy anything. But you cannot always buy just nice everytime $49.99 at NTUC, so next best thing buy voucher which you can keep for 1 year to use....say CNY / Hari Raya / Xmas when you have to whack more purchase. Or since NETS flashpay ATU is $50, you will max have $50 to spend each time, you go NTUC Xtra want to buy TV at $399. How? Take out the vouchers you accumulated during the past few moths and use, and balance that is less than $50, pay by NETs Flashpay. Simple?

Hmm so don't use the card as travel card?

Yes, EZ-reload ATU counts for towards the $400 requirement for CC spend 1% bonus.

Yes, paying bills online at the various M1/ Singtel / Starhub / Vbox sites using OCBC credit card is also counted.

i only have salary credit bonus and bill payment bonus...

can i check if supplementary spending counted for the 400 spending needed?

how about the ATU?

how about online spending?

i email ocbc to check about it. see what they say :(

Hi Yukita,

Any spending done by the supplementary holder, will go towards the main card holder's $400 spend.

You will need to apply for a main card of your own, in order to earn the credit card bonus interest.

And as long as the ATU or online spend is charged to your card, it will be considered. But again, if they are performed by the supplementary holder, it will go towards the main card holder's $400 spend.

Jus applied OCBC 360... and found out something about one of the criteria... For e 3 bill payment... They said that the 3 payments can be made on either GIRO or Normal payment (eg singtel payment) in order to gain e 1% interest.. It is not possible for the mix between GIRO and normal bill payment... Is it true???

Hi cyl1987,

That's certainly not true. The 3 bill payments can be a combination of online or GIRO bill payments.

Hope this helps!

anyone knows if it's possible to pay income tax via ocbc credit and if it's possible, does it counts towards the 400 for the 1% bonus?

Hi spiral83,

You can check if that's possible on IRAS website. However, in order for the bill payment to be qualified, it has to be done from your OCBC internet banking service.

You'll need to log in, and select the "Bill Payment" option.

Hope this helps!
