1) if the credit card payment for the ocbc frank card is paid giro of ocbc 360 account does it count towards the 3 bill payment each month?

2) how do i know my "bill payment number" when i wish to activate auto giro paying function of my credit card (first week of owning the frank card so no bills were received yet)

Hi wc1985,

That's right! The payment for your FRANK card has to be a GIRO arrangement under your 360 account.

And are you filling in a GIRO application form, or doing it online?

For joint ocbc 360 account, the $400 spent must it be under the primary account holder's credit card or is it the total amount spent under both account holders?

Hi xuanzzz,

It'll be the total spend of the primary & supplementary holder.

salary must be credited thru giro? cheque can or not? :(

Hi there!

It'll have to be credited in via GIRO I'm afraid. And your HR will need to input the GIRO description as a GIRO-Salary. Otherwise we won't be able to tell if the funds are coming in as a form of salary.

The ibanking login is very very slow! Tried to login since 2300 and make 3 bill payment. The transaction was only completed at 0001 hrs and was shown as 1 july transaction. Really pissed with the all the time spent and miss the 1% interest.

Why wait for the last of the last moment? This is the time banks will schedule the urgent maintenance. Also I believe that daily cutoff of some of the transaction is not 12 midnight, but earlier like 9.30 PM or 11.30 PM. Later than this, transaction will be taken for the next day.

Unless your gain in delaying to the last moment is more than 1%, this risk is not woth taking.

It is slow or inaccessible since yesterday morning. Seems like a major issue. Hope it can get resolved soon!

if i pay 3 telco bills (amount of $150 each, total of >$400) using the Pay Bill function in online banking and paying by credit card, will this fulfill 2 criteria and give me 2% bonus interest?

Nope. If you pay by online banking, the amount doesn't count towards the $400 credit card spend.

And if you pay by credit card, it doesn't count towards the 3 bill payments.

However, you can probably find a way to split up the bills so that you can meet the criteria. ;)
