Hi OCBC, I called your customer hotline today with this question "Can I link my 365 credit card to my savings account so that I can make withdrawals from the ATM machine" The CSO informed me that it is not possible and that only OCBC debit cards can be used to withdraw from an ATM. I googled this and I saw someone posting on HWZ Forum saying that one would need to insert the 365 CC into the ATM machine and link to the savings account. Please advise if this is correct

I believe u can...but if u draw wrongly, u end up doing a cash advance, which you will tio charge very high interests....then song bo riao.. :s13:

I think the CSO trying to avoid that la. or maybe the CSO new..:s13:

Btw. I'm holding NTUC Plus Debit card. When I insert the card to OCBC machine, no option to link the card to my 360 acct.

However. last time when I applied the 360, they never send me any atm card. I ask them why no atm card. they say can link using my existing card (plus debit). But no option to link on the plus card.

Later on, I applied frank card. and there is option to link bank account when I insert the card to the atm.

So yes. their system and CSO can be quite messy.

Hi OCBC,

For 360 account, can I check if my car giro payment through my 360 account every month is considered a bill payment for the 1%?

My car is under ocbc loan and arrangements has been made for giro deduction every month from 360 account.

Hi, sorry for the late response

It certainly will be eligible! As long as the bill payment is done from OCBC internet banking, or a GIRO deduction

Hope this clarifies!

U don't need to wait for bill to pay any of your credit cards.

Just remember or keep ur transaction slip and pay one of them can Liao. Even if you pay $1 to the Frank card its considered as one of 3 bill payment.

I'm sorry you were misinformed by our colleague. You can certainly use your credit card like an ATM card, to withdraw from one of your savings or current accounts

To link the account, you can either use this form (https://www.ocbc.com/assets/pdf/ATM...ctivation Forms/CreditCardMaintenanceform.pdf) or do so at any of our ATMs

The service is listed under "Other Services" and the option should be to "Link Account to Card"

Oh my serious~ why withdraw from 360 with frank visa need pay so much? If I withdraw $20 then fee $15 means I use $5 nia wtf~?

Hi

That sounds like a cash advance instead. If you link up one of your savings or current accounts to your credit card, you can use it like an ATM card

And any money you withdraw, will come out from that savings account. No fee is chargeable for such withdrawals. Just don't choose the option "Cash Advance"!

Hi OCBC,

Does payment to CPF educational loan results to 1 of the 3 bill payments?

Thanks,

As long as the bill payment is done from your OCBC internet banking, or a GIRO deduction. Both methods will have to be deducted specifically from your 360 account

Hi!

FRANK card statements are always generated at the end of every month. But you do not have to wait till statements are generated to make a bill payment

You can always make an advance payment into your card account

hi ocbc,

i open an account on 15 Sep 2014 and deposited 100k and i managed only to achieve the paying of 3 bills. Since the account is opened on 15th, my average daily balance for Sep is 50k [(100k *15 days + 0 *15days)/30 days]. How much bonus interest will I get for Sep, $38 or $19

if i had two ocbc credit cards, and i used one bank account to pay for two of them, is that considered as 1 bill or 2 bill?

if i had two ocbc credit cards, and i used two bank accounts to pay, one account to one cc, is that considered as 1 bill per account?

if i had one ocbc credit card, and i used one bank account to pay for it in the month, and if i had further use of the card, can i used another bank account to clear the bill, counting as 2 bill for 2 accounts in the same month?

Hi OCBC Greg, 2 questions.

1. i need to provide branch name/branch code for my 360 account. What's the number for this?

2. "only direct salary credits through GIRO with the description "GIRO – SALARY" in your statements will qualify for this bonus." <--- DO i really need to do this? I dont think my HR will be so helpful. Or is it just any salary transferred via GIRO will be ok?
