Sorry if this was asked before:
Are grab pay top ups with ocbc 365 credit card considered as eligible means towards earning the spend bonus interest for the ocbc 360 account?
And what about charging insurance premiums using the ocbc credit card?

Has anyone bought an eligible unit trust under ocbc 360?

Can I confirm: to qualify for the Invest Bonus Interest category for the full 12 months, you have to hold the unit trust for that entire length of time?

Meaning if I sold my UT 1 month from the date of purchase, the bonus will likewise last for 1 month (and not 12 months)?

You need to buy min 20k and cannot be money market funds. Can be sold, after the free look period or the subsequent month, preferably thr latter of either to be safe.

As per their website: Exclude Unit Trusts investments into money market funds, Systematic Investment Programme (OCBC Momentum) and Unit Trusts transferred in from other financial institutions

Do I continue to get this bonus interest if I sell my investments or when they mature?
Yes. You will continue to get this bonus interest

Yes. I saw that .
Free look is 14 days. If the eligible UT tanked in that 14 days, I will just give back to ocbc at no cost to me.

So on the 15th day, I sell (cost to me is 0.88% of $20k =$176). (Assuming I buy the most conservative bond so not expecting it to lose much value in 1 day)

So if it means that I get a full 12 months of 1.5% off $100k, that’s $1500. That’s outstanding just after 1/2 month.
If it otherwise then it mean I get $1500/12 =$125 per month, so it becomes a wait out on chance for another 12 months.

I bought ut online in May2024 with the amount deducted from my ocbc360 a/c, sold it in June 2024 after monitoring ut prices to ensure at least small profit when sold. No need to hold ut for 12 months. I have bought a new batch ut again in this month May 2025 to start a new 12-month cycle for INVEST bonus interest, waiting to sell ut in June when the price reach a level where I can get off it with a small profit.

But I would advise not to buy & sell within the same month because this would result in nil ut holding as at that 1st month-end of the buy & sell transactions. It is safer to have the online account or statement for the 1st month-end showing the ‘ut holdings’ before you sell it.

Usually free look, you give back to them a lower of the market price and price you paid, you may want to check that.
