Personally I am leaning towards the new OCBC 360 compared to UOB One but having to reset everything when a particular bank comes up with a better promo is troublesome.
Say if XXX bank in future comes up with a better package, I wonder what is the % of people that will really exit their existing relationship and jump onto the other bandwagon for better rates.
problem is the banks keep changing rules. we wan simple life and to make THEIR life simple also cannot. make rules so complicated and waste manpower on phone banking.
currently i giro 3 uob cards to uob, telco to frank, some of them i had cash rewards with maybank, and the rest i pay via ocbc internet banking. unfortunately anz iras tax payment is now very unattractive and most of the insurances i have cannot be paid via credit card or had no benefits to do so (aka manhattan).
salary wise i had jumped from multiplier to 360. if multiplier ups its game, i will reconsider, but that will mean at the very least up to 2.7% pa on cashflow above 20k, but probably very unlikely.
