Would like to know why electronic goods at Sony's store does not give 10X points? it is very strange.

Also do you award 10x points for purchase of handphone off Singtel Starhub or M1 website and for ACRA payments.

May we clarify how were you able to find out that Sony does/did not give 10X OCBC$?

If you have made a purchase there, could you PM us so that we may look into it.

Telcos and payments to ACRA do not give 10X OCBC$.

Other transactions such as Ezbuy and purchase at audiohouse were not awarded the additional 9X.

Does anyone know what is OCBC's practice regarding awarding bonus points? Do they credit for mobile payments + other qualifying transactions together?

Or should I expect my points for other qualifying transactions to be credited at a later date?

Bonus OCBC$ are credited by the end of the following month. Hence transactions eligible for 10X OCBC$ made and posted in October, should get awarded with the 9X OCBC$ by end November.

I made several transactions on Ezbuy (fna 65daigou) on this card. This is listed as a qualifying merchant for 10X on the official website:

However knowing how uncertain the crediting of points can be, I sent OCBC a PM to confirm that the merchant qualifies for 10X. OCBC arranged for somebody to call me and here is the conversation:

OCBC: sir - your 65daigou transactions do not qualify for 10X.

Me: Why? Isn't this listed as a qualifying merchant?

OCBC: That is Ezbuy not 65daigou?

Me: But they are the same?! 65daigou is the new name.

OCBC: Give me a min to check... after a while.. Ok since they are the same then it qualifies.

Me: This is very worrying? What controls are in place that assure customers that we get our 10X as listed on the website?

OCBC: We go by MCC code. Your merchant is not in the correct MCC code.

Me: So do you mean that I have to call OCBC EVERYTIME I make a transaction with Ezbuy to ensure that the points will be captured correctly? Do you have a process in place to ensure that we get our points?

Could not get an answer to my question above.

OCBC - can you please clarify? Shall stop using this card for transactions on Ezbuy until clarification is provided.

my 9x all intact and awarded before 30th of the mth... 1st mth using ocbc card! the calculation seems easy; round up or down.

All your transactions are mobile payments? Heard if so - usually the points will be correct.

Is only when you swipe your card physically/ online stores which are suppose to qualify but because of MCC issues which are giving problems.

yep all are mobile except for 2 x hermes - had to call in to confirm as it max out the entire quota; points were adjusted, had a line item on the rewards page (as mention the 9x point have no details on the page) & 1 x chanel - automatically credited

Hi OCBC, I have made few transaction to fave.com in Oct and Nov 2017. Jus called our CSO n was told that I m not rewarded with the 10x reward beacuse it's registered until Beauty and Health product. Pls confirm as I saw in one of our thread in Oct 2017 that said fave.com is eligible for 10x reward.
