After flashing Gummy, it's even better. The phone is even faster, has more customisation options, much lesser of the yellow tint and the flip cover works properly now, closing it does put the phone to sleep. Don't know why Oppo doesn't want to fix this simple thing...

Yes I am on the 8th June build. I suggest u download via a stable source like your pc and watch the download to make sure it downloads fully, because I didn't get any MD5 error so it's not the source issue. I did try downloading via 3G on my phone and sometimes I get a false positive, meaning it shows it's downloaded fully but in fact it's not, it's because the network is so slow till the browser thinks the download is done.

I didn't take like many photos or videos, but those few pics and videos I took turned out ok. The video preview screen does have artifacts but it doesn't affect the actual video so it's just a minor thing.

What signal thingy? To me I did think that the 3G signal was slower than usual, but not sure if it's the telco acting up or is it really the phone..

If u do decide to flash it, when u reboot it, let the phone settle down before doing anything with it. The first time I flashed, I started entering my gmail address and customizing my phone once it booted and things start to FC a lot. Then I wiped, and reflashed again and let it sit there for awhile then everything was good, no more FCs.

Voice call volume was decent, not as loud as colourOS but around 80% the max level so it's still ok. But the speed is really really fast. If u turn off the animations in the Dev options, windows appear almost as fast as u click on them.. really snappy, sibei song if u're a speed junkie...

Just received Niklin tempered glass sp from Taobao.
All in good condition.Much much cheaper as compared to local buy,is about 13sgd/pcs only,inclusive of forwarding fee.

Thickness,quite okay.
EBay ,normally they took very long time for delivery.
TB took a week for my case,quite acceptable.

Nice to know that oppo is making its presence felt.
similar hw...snapdragon with 3G ram, 5.5" screen.
The 1 difference is the OIS (camera) ...and of course $.
G3 would b 300mo than F7
